Moulin à vent, fermes laitières et campagne à vélo électrique
Description
Visite en petit groupe - Max 10 participants Un court trajet en ferry et un cycle facile à travers le nord de la ville et nous arriverons aux Waterlands, la campagne juste à l'extérieur d'Amsterdam. Bientôt, ce sont les vaches et les enseignes paysannes qui proposent des glaces ou du lait fraîchement préparés. Nous discuterons de la gestion de l'eau et des terres, nous verrons un moulin à vent de la vieille école, nous expliquerons pourquoi les Hollandais sont si fous de vélo, et comment ils ont utilisé ces chemins pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale à la recherche des biens dont ils avaient besoin pour survivre. Il y aura beaucoup de possibilités de photos tout au long du chemin que nous croiserons à travers quelques villages et nous arrêterons pour tout prendre. Parce que les Pays-Bas sont relativement plats, il n'est pas nécessaire d'être en pleine forme pour participer et le vélo électrique en fait un jeu d'enfant. Nous passerons la plupart de notre temps en dehors de la ville pour un voyage à vélo détendu.

Itinéraire
Pour sortir de la ville, nous prendrons un ferry situé à l'arrière de la gare centrale d'Amsterdam.
L'un des neuf moulins à vent restants à Amsterdam, nous allons jeter un coup d'œil à celui-ci en nous dirigeant vers le nord hors de la ville.
Lors de cette excursion, nous traverserons quelques villages au nord et ferons une croisière relaxante à travers les champs des agriculteurs.
Un autre joli village a une belle église au centre de la ville. À l'occasion, nous aurons une brève pause pour monter l'église et admirer la vue sur les environs (sous réserve de disponibilité).
Notre dernier village nous offrira une belle vue sur le port avant de retourner à Amsterdam Nord.
Nous reviendrons à Amsterdam en nous arrêtant pour voir un ancien chantier naval avec une histoire importante. Au total, nous pédalerons pendant environ 90 minutes - 2 heures et couvrirons environ 15 km

The bike Tour was one of the top highlights of our trip to Amsterdam! Corbin was very nice and told us a lot of interesting facts along the way. He stopped for pictures and we saw the absolute gorgeous countryside. We also went to a farm where we had the best ice cream and Corbin had delicious cheese and apple slices to share for us. He took very good care of our 11 year old daughter who was scared to ride an e bike for the first time- in the end she loved it and it was one of her favorite things we did in Amsterdam! Great tour !!!

Great tour. Would do the longer 5-6h tour next time. So much fun getting out of the city and visiting the countryside Just need to be able to add a beer or coffee stop to make it even better Bikes were so good, power if needed but really new and nice to ride Kevin our guide struggled with English a bit as he is originally from the US (joke), but seriously he was super funny & nice and really made a huge effort to get to know everyone and regularly checked in to see if all was well. Would highly recommend this tour and perhaps consider the longer tour as 2.5 hours flew past really quickly.

Lovely trip to the Amsterdam countryside! Beautiful route, easy central location for departure/arrivals, comfortable bikes. Definitely worth the price. Guide was friendly and shared interesting facts along the way, but was new to the city/country and so couldn't answer questions if they were outside the script. I've noticed this throughout Amsterdam, as there are so many international and young folks that finding a local or more experienced guide is difficult. You will enjoy a great day with Those Amsterdames!

On the guide note: it's true she's newer to Amsterdam, but most of our guides have actually called NL home for 20+ years, with several having become Dutch themselves (and a few who were born here). That said, we're always on the lookout for new talent too, and your guide is a great example: still building her local knowledge, but she brings a genuine passion for this city and the kind of playful, fun energy that fits our tours perfectly. Those Amsterdames country side bicycle tour was an excellent afternoon. Our guide Kevin was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. He truly seemed to enjoy spending a couple hours with us in the tour. It was fun to get out of the hustle of the city and see some nearby villages..best part is stopping for an ice cream!! The e-bikes are easy to ride and the pace was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and book the longer tour with this fine company.
