Vous participerez à la production en direct de produits typiques considérés comme parmi les meilleurs aliments au monde, comme le Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, le vinaigre balsamique traditionnel DOP et le prosciutto DOP, en visitant des agriculteurs familiaux de confiance sélectionnés. Vous aurez la possibilité de découvrir les coulisses de la fabrication des produits et de poser des questions aux experts qui seront nos invités. Chaque visite comprendra une riche dégustation accompagnée de vins locaux comme le Pignoletto blanc et le Lambrusco rouge.

Visite de la ferme laitière Parmigiano pour voir les productions en direct du Parmigiano Reggiano DOP - À la fin de la visite, vous dégusterez la Ricotta fraîchement préparée, 3 vieillissements différents de Parmigiano et d'autres délices
Nous visiterons une usine de Prosciutto DOP où vous comprendrez à quel point ce produit est naturel et sain. Bien entendu, la visite se terminera par une dégustation de délicieux prosciutto accompagné de gressins et de focaccia accompagnés de vin Lambrusco.
Nous visiterons une ferme familiale Tradition Balsamique où vous découvrirez les secrets de "l'Or Noir" de Modène que vous dégusterez à différents vieillissements: du "jeune" à "l'extravecchio" qui a passé au moins 25 ans en les tonneaux en bois !

This trip/ tour was worth every single penny. Luca picked us up and we stopped at a parmesean cheese farm and saw how it was made. Our next stop was a meat factory with so much prosciutto. We got to eat a variety of different meat & drink Lambrusco! Our last stop was my favorite - a balsamic vinegar farm. This tour was perfect - probably my favorite thing I’ve ever done.

Our guide, Roberta, was wonderful with excellent English. She talked enough but not too much like some guides can. She was informative and fun! The three production farms we toured were fabulous and so welcoming. Loved all the information, the sights, the smells, and especially the tastings!

Fantastic tour with a private guide and driver for a half day. Very glad we booked in order to see a family-run prosciutto operation. That was the highlight of the tour and not something we were able to find elsewhere! 10/10 would do this again.

It is a wonderful explanation of how the cheese is made and aged. I especially enjoyed learning how the prosciutto is preserved and tested for age. The balsamic distillation process was amazing and the family is so dedicated to the making and aging of the vinegar. I have never tasted anything like their vinegar. Fredrica was fantastic. She took extra time to show us the towers and a place for lunch. Stefano our driver made the tour special with his stops for photos and even a roadside stand to buy the famous cherries.

If you are visiting Emilia-Romagna, especially for food, this tour is a must do! Our guide, Federica was amazing!! You could tell she knows everything about the proscuitto, reggiano, and balsamic. She is a true professional and had a great rapport with the places we visited. Learning about how everything is made, and by the small business owners of the area - steeped in family history. It was an incredible experience. We were our own small group of 8 so the personalized attention was greatly appreciated. The ride was very comfortable and it felt like we made new friends. The only 'issue' was that the person at the balsamic shop was by herself, so it made for feeling a bit rushed when we were trying to figure out our purchases. Other than that, we would do this again and would want Federica as our guide. So interesting and so very tasty. Thank you

Valentina was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, personable, informative, but most importantly made sure we had a fun time. Would fully recommend this tour to another group that wanted to get out of Bologna and have a memorable experience. Our guide, Luca, was incredible, and we enjoyed our Parmigiano, Prosciutto, and Balsamic Vinegar tour immensely. First, we visited a factory where they make parmigiano reggiano cheese. The process was fascinating, and we got to sample both fresh ricotta and aged parmigiano reggiano. They were each the best I’ve had in my life. Next, we visited a chateau where a family creates “traditional” balsamic vinegar of Modena. It is wholly different than the balsamic vinegar of Modena sold in most grocery stores, and the production process was fascinating. Finally, we visited a faculty where they age legs or ham to produce Prosciutto. At the end, we sampled some of the meat, which is so much radically better than what you can buy in the U.S. What really set this tour over the top, though, was our guide, Luca. He is a native of Bologna, and he is incredibly proud of the region’s fine culinary tradition. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he regaled us with stories about growing up with such fine foods, and short historical anecdotes about the towns we passed through on our way to each destination. He even gave us some stellar restaurant recommendations for dinner once we returned. This tour really was a highlight of our recent Italian vacation, and I cant recommend it highly enough.

A great experience. The guide was very knowledgable about the history and details of these special local products as well as learning about the local wines and their other big crop, cherries. The tour was quite in depth and we got to see all of the steps of the processes and there was plenty to taste and a greal lunch. Another treat was that we got to visit a producer of Prosciutto de Modena, which is only produced by 10 purveyors and is extremely hard to find outside the nearby countries (Prociutto de Parma is made by over 100 purveyors). Also worthy of note is that the staff at the pruveyors was very friendly. Highly recommend this tour with this operator (Slow Emotion).
