Nous vous offrons la possibilité de découvrir l'histoire unique des jeux olympiques avec l'aide de nos guides locaux éloquents et sympathiques en anglais. Étant donné que le sanctuaire d'Olympie n'a pas été construit en un jour, quelques heures suffisent pour faire l'expérience d'une belle visite d'Olympie.

Marché de l'ancienne Olympie, Olympie, Grèce Découvrez le berceau des Jeux Olympiques en visitant d'abord le site archéologique. Vous admirerez la vue imprenable sur les monuments les plus célèbres tels que l'ancien stade, qui a accueilli 40 000 spectateurs, le temple de Zeus et d'Héra et bien d'autres.
où vous verrez les métopes du temple de Zeus, la magnifique statue d'Hermès de Praxitèle, la statue de Niké de Paionios et le casque de Miltiade, célèbre général des guerres perses. Vous pouvez également visiter le Musée de l'histoire des jeux où vous pourrez en savoir plus sur la façon dont les jeux olympiques ont commencé et les sports auxquels ils ont été inclus.
Vous en apprendrez beaucoup sur la production de miel et aurez également la chance de l'essayer.
Un endroit idéal pour l'été avec une belle vue sur la baie de la mer Ionienne où vous pourrez prendre un verre et nager.
Nous visitons le monastère si vous souhaitez suivre le programme de la visite sinon nous pouvons visiter un autre lieu de votre choix à la même distance. Le monastère est situé entre les villages Lanthi et Labeti sur un rocher escarpé avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne Erymanthos et la forêt de Foloi.

Lieux et horaires de prise en charge
Notre lieu de rendez-vous sera la première sortie du port de Katakolon. Dès votre arrivée au port, je serai là pour venir vous chercher avec notre véhicule et vous proposer une visite qui durera 4-5 heures maximum. Je tiendrai un tableau avec votre nom écrit dessus, ainsi vous me reconnaîtrez facilement. Hors de la zone de service est disponible sur demande.

Our family of four had an excellent experience from start to finish. Christios was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to us. He was able to make some adjustments on the fly to allow us to spend more time at areas we were interested in. Very reasonably priced for the service you receive.
We had a fantastic experience! Panos was our guide. The beautiful, spacious Mercedes mini van picked us up and took us to Olympia to see the incredible sites. He was a knowledgeable, kind and patient guide … making sure we all had waters and worked the tour to fit our schedule. He took us to an incredible seafood restaurant for lunch , waited for us the entire time and took us right back to the boat. I would highly recommend this company. Just a great all around experience!
Christos was amazing. He had so much history to share and knew where to go to make the most of our time. He was kind, open to anything we wanted to see or change, and filled with suggestions that made for a fantastic day for us and our adult children. Besides the Olympic ruins, our favorite thing was Klio’s honey farm. Klio taught us about her family business and so much about bee keeping/honey making. This tour added a great local feel to Olympia. We highly recommend Christos to all!

Demetria made our family's introduction to Olympia absolutely seamless and memorable. She was easy to spot when we arrived, and from there, everything went beautifully. She had a genuine warmth with our kids and kept us all engaged with thoughtful insights about local economics, culture, and olive cultivation. What really stood out was her patience at the museum—she gave us exactly the time we needed without any rush. But the real magic was her restaurant recommendation: through her personal connection, she introduced us to To Kupua, where the owner and staff treated us like family. It was genuinely the best meal we had on our entire trip. The car was impeccably clean and Demetria's driving was confident and safe. For families coming off a cruise looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy guide who actually cares about your experience, she's the real deal.
Panos is a lovely young man- he is very knowledgeable, punctual & is great at communicating. His English is very good. He also got us to the front of the queue at the museum!
Nancy is the best tour guide. She took us to places that the tour busses don’t go to. If you wish to immerse yourself into the local culture, people, food, wine and lifestyle, this day tour will tick all of your boxes. Nancy was super fun and the real deal. I would not consider this a tour. It was a taxi driver who picks you up and takes you to Olympia. It would be cheaper to just get a taxi at the port. If you want a true tour book elsewhere.
