As the owner of the business, I would first like to clarify an important point regarding your booking. The service you selected was a private excursion with a vehicle accommodating up to 4 passengers, plus the driver. A minivan or van was not booked. Therefore, the vehicle provided was exactly the type of vehicle included in the service you had reserved. We picked you up from the port, and the originally agreed itinerary included a visit to Olympia, followed by a winery visit and, finally, the beach. During the drive to Olympia, we informed you that the winery originally planned for our visit could accommodate a private tour at 12:30, as there had been particularly high visitor numbers earlier that day. In order to preserve as much of the original itinerary as possible, we offered you alternative options: either another winery in the area, which unfortunately does not offer guided tours, or visiting the museum first, then proceeding to the winery and afterwards returning to the archaeological site. At that point, you explained to us that the main reason you had chosen the excursion was to visit Olympia and that wineries could also be found in other areas. We fully respected your preference and continued with the itinerary accordingly. After your visit to the archaeological site, you asked us to make a stop in the village so that you could get something to drink, which we were of course happy to do. When you returned, we asked you once again whether you would like to visit the alternative winery and then continue to the beach, as originally planned. You then informed us that you preferred to return to Katakolo in order to have lunch there. We respected this choice as well and adjusted the route according to your preference. We understand that every visitor may have different expectations from an excursion. However, we believe it is important to clarify that throughout the day, we made every effort to inform you of the available options and to adapt the itinerary to your preferences, even when those preferences differed from the original itinerary. We are genuinely sorry if the final experience did not meet your expectations. From our side, we made every effort to ensure that the excursion was carried out smoothly and professionally, while accommodating the choices you made throughout the day.

The product we advertise and that you selected was a private excursion with a local driver, and not a guided archaeological tour with a licensed tour guide. We are local drivers and have extensive knowledge of our area. During the drive, our drivers provide information about the local area, its history, attractions, and other useful information related to your visit to Olympia. We also take care of your transportation and make every effort to ensure that your itinerary runs smoothly and comfortably. However, the service you booked does not include a licensed guide inside the archaeological site. For visitors who would like a detailed historical and archaeological tour of Olympia, a licensed tour guide can be arranged as an additional service at an extra cost. For your visit to Olympia, you were also provided with an information guide/book so that you could explore the archaeological site at your own pace. We are pleased that you found our driver friendly and talkative. We are sorry, however, that the level of historical guiding you expected was different from what is included in the service you booked.
