Le sanctuaire d'Olympie s'étend sur un paysage enchanteur situé au pied de la colline de Kronius. Cela en a fait un lieu idéal pour les Jeux Olympiques qui ont lieu tous les quatre ans en l'honneur de Zeus. Une fois sur place, vous visiterez le temple de Zeus qui abritait l’une des sept merveilles du monde et le temple d’Héra où la torche olympique est allumée. L'exploration dans le site Olympia se fera par vous-même (le guide agréé dans le site Olympia n'est pas inclus dans le prix du voyage et est disponible sur demande moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Le musée archéologique présente des œuvres d'art ancien mondialement connues et des objets de la période classique, les célèbres frontons du temple de Zeus, Nike de Paionios et Hermès de Praxitèle.
À deux pas du musée et des ruines d'Olympie, vous pourrez rencontrer Klio et sa mère dans sa ferme. Klio vous accueillera avec un plateau de fruits de saison, de jus de fruits frais et de café dans un jardin planté d’arbres fruitiers et de légumes. À travers la présentation des outils de l'apiculture, vous serez initié à la vie des abeilles des temps anciens jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Complétez votre visite par des «diples», un bonbon traditionnel au miel,
L'Agriturismo Magna Grecia a été créé en 2009 par Dimitri Karabelas et Franca Magrini. Les visiteurs de l'Ancienne Olympie ont maintenant l'occasion de découvrir les saveurs authentiques de la terre grecque en goûtant à l'huile d'olive extra vierge, aux olives et aux vins produits par la famille. Leur objectif est de veiller à ce que les invités de Magna Grecia vivent des moments uniques tout en visitant leur pharmacie.
La plage de Saint Andrew est très proche du port de Katakolon, elle est située derrière la colline de Katakolon et se trouve à seulement 4 km. La plage de sable épais et de rochers en été est pleine de vie. Il a une vue magnifique sur la mer. Vous trouverez également un café et un restaurant traditionnel où vous pourrez prendre un café ou un repas.

Une fois que vous avez quitté la porte du port, tournez à droite et suivez le sentier rouge (le parcours des cordes), nous vous attendrons au bout de la voie rouge avec un panneau indiquant votre nom.

Dora was fantastic to work with as I was planning a large group with 17 people. She was very accommodating when our cruise ship changed the times we were in port. Fantastic experience. Joanna was our tour leader, and she accommodated our every request across all of the different events, even getting us a personal guide at the last moment for Olympia. We had less time than we expected, so we didn't get to do all of the events, but Joanna worked with us to ensure we did all the things we wanted and spent the time we had on what we preferred. We spent a great day with Dora learning about the Katakolon area. Everything was easy about the pickup and activities. We really enjoyed the honey farm and Olympic ruins. This was a fabulous tour....I am so glad that we chose to do this tour as a family. Our fantastic driver was Dora. She was absolutely amazing. I loved her energy, her passion for her job, her knowledge about Olympia, her instructions were precise and she made our entire experience so memorable. I would highly recommend Dora for sure.
