À votre arrivée à Katakolo, vous trouverez notre bureau dans le port de Katakolo dans un emplacement très pratique. Notre chauffeur vous attendra à l'extérieur du bureau avec une pancarte à votre nom. Transfert à notre véhicule privé et profitez du trajet vers l'ancienne Olympie. N'hésitez pas à demander à notre chauffeur toute assistance nécessaire.
Une fois arrivé, vous pourrez faire un tour dans les ruines du site archéologique et laisser votre âme se détendre dans la nature mystique. Vous pourrez y visiter le lieu où la flamme olympique est allumée tous les quatre ans pour les Jeux olympiques modernes et découvrir le temple de Zeus, autrefois la demeure de l'une des sept merveilles du monde antique.
Explorez le musée archéologique pour voir des artefacts importants du site.
Notre chauffeur viendra vous chercher et fera un arrêt dans la ville moderne d'Olympie afin que vous puissiez vous promener si vous le souhaitez. Vous pouvez trouver des petites boutiques avec des souvenirs et des produits locaux. Vous pouvez prendre une collation ou boire un café grec.
Nous vous proposons une halte au domaine viticole, toujours selon vos envies. Visite des vignobles afin d'en apprendre davantage sur les différentes variétés ainsi que sur la culture de celles-ci. La visite se poursuit dans le domaine de la production et de la normalisation où vous pourrez avoir l'occasion de vous familiariser avec une cave familiale moderne qui produit des produits fiables et de qualité supérieure. Et enfin dégustation de vin. Dégustation de quatre vins accompagnés d'une collation.
Nous vous proposons également une halte à la miellerie. Votre visite à notre ferme vous offrira l'hospitalité grecque; une pause fraîche et rafraîchissante depuis le village moderne d'Olympie et hors des sentiers battus dans un jardin rempli d'arbres fruitiers et de légumes. Goûtez à la variété de bonbons à la cuillère et de confitures fabriqués à partir des fruits de la ferme et conservés par les gouvernantes comme une tradition séculaire; des recettes transmises de mère en fille depuis des siècles. Terminez votre visite par des « diples », une douceur traditionnelle au miel. Madame Roula, elle-même, les préparera devant vous en dépliant la pâte et les secrets de ce dessert gourmand. Le miel et les produits de l'abeille qui ont suivi l'homme à travers l'histoire ont été et sont utilisés pour la nutrition, la médecine et la cosmétique. Découvrez comment la ruche produit de la gelée royale, de la cire et du venin. Aussi, comment l'abeille récolte le nectar, le pollen et la propolis.

We had a fantastic day with Mr. Constantinos from Theocar Services, located conveniently right outside the cruise port exit. While he is a driver rather than an official tour guide, his hospitality and flexibility were top-notch—he even stopped by his own apartment to lend us umbrellas when an unexpected rain shower hit! He dropped us off to explore Ancient Olympia at our own pace, picking us up promptly when we called. From there, he took us to two wonderful, intimate, family-owned local spots: a lovely bee farm and a hilltop winery where we enjoyed a three-wine tasting paired with a generous, delicious charcuterie lunch. To top it off, he accommodated our last-minute request to add a quick tour of an olive oil factory without hesitation. If you want a flexible, authentic, and stress-free way to explore the area on your own terms, we highly recommend booking with them!

I wasn't sure if this tour was worth the money, but it definitely was! We were able to skip the long lines of the cruise excursions and get through the Olympic museum before the crowds. We had met a couple of people on our cruise and saw them at the museum. They later told us they didn't even go in because the venue is small and it was too crowded and they didn't have time on their ships tour. We were taken to the bee farm and learned about the life of the bees and were able to try local honey and products. Our favorite was the winery stop. We had a private table overlooking the hills and had delicious homemade jellies, cheeses, meats and fruit along with glasses of wine. Absolutely fantastic. Our guide was so kind and willing to tell us about his life in this part of Greece. So interesting and kind to us all day. Highly recommend!

We had a great private day tour of the area with Kostas (Constantine). He let us tailor the suggested itinerary to what we wanted to do, took us to some great spots off the beaten path, and provided a lot of fun facts on the history and geography of the region. Even during the trip he knew which hot spots were crowded at which times and was able to offer alternatives. Highly recommended compared to the overcrowded cruise ship tour excursions.

This was a great trip to see the Olympic ruins and visit a local bee farm and winery. We had enough time to walk the shops in town and visit the museum. The local bee farm was a nice experience and we learned so much about bee farms. The highlight of our tour was our driver George. He was so knowledgeable and had a wonderful personality! We had a great time on this tour! The archeogical site was rather crowded and it was super nice to have a private driver to navigate for us. The bee farm was lovely and the winery had spectacular views. Highly recommend this tour.
This was absolutely incredible, and our favorite thing we did on our two week honeymoon. Vicky was so friendly and helpful. The staff at the bee farm were so sweet, and the honey and spoon sweets were delicious! Our favorite part was the winery. Oh man, they were so hospitable there! They made us some Greek coffee because we mentioned we hadn’t had any yet. They brought us out a whole meal, all made from scratch, and oh my gosh, the pets! The cats and dogs were such a welcome surprise. But truly, we cannot stop talking about the food we had! It was a perfect sampler kind of meal. We ended up doing the museum before the ancient site, to beat some of the crowd. And I highly recommend doing that! The ancient site will be crowded all day, so go to the museum before people go there after the ancient site. Our only regret is that we felt like we didn’t have enough time for the museum and ancient site :(

If you are looking for flexibility, this is the tour to book. Our driver, Andreas, was waiting for us when we arrived and provided great communication. He listened to our interests and accommodated the itinerary changes we wanted to make. We had a lovely stroll through the Olympia Botanical Gardens, enjoyed Klio's Honey Farm, and had a relaxing wine tasting and lunch at Drouva Winery. We couldn't have asked for a better day. The car was comfortable and in great condition. We highly recommend this company and Andreas as your driver.
