Perfect tour! Yohan was exceptional! 100% recommend! Adapted the tour to our family with teenagers - they loved it!
What an amazing introduction to the lovely city of Quebec. Our guide, Lynn, was just incredible. Lynn was full of historical knowledge about the city and all things Canada. So informative and easy to listen to, we booked another tour with them, reviewed also, of Montmorecy and the Isle d'Orleans, the next day. You cannot go wrong with this tour or with this tour company. They were very reponsive, reasonably priced, very professional and, most importantly, brought the highlights of Quebec to life!
This was an outstanding walking tour of Old Quebec. First of all, the owner (Emilee) cares deeply about the quality of her company. She personally called me back after nobody answered the phone and talked me through the different tour options available. I explained to her that I am an historian and own my own walking tour company in Charleston SC, so I requested a guide that was well versed in the city's history. Although she told me all of her guides are knowledgeable about history, she selected a guide specifically that fit my interests. The meeting location was easy to find and our guide was excellent. There are so many tour company options out there when it comes to Old Quebec, but I highly recommend booking directly with HQ Services Touristiques. My wife, daughter and I made memories on this tour that will last a lifetime!
Paulina was a great tour guide. We had a small group with several teens and a senior “nana”. She was able to make the tour interesting for everyone. When it started raining, she was flexible in adjusting the tour. We enjoyed learning about Old Quebec.
Our guide shared a lot of history/stories as we walked the city but it felt random as we walked from site to site. It was hard to put the “story” of the city’s history together. But we still enjoyed getting to know some facts about Old Town!
Bonjour Joann, You are absolutely right that your guide should have done his tour as a story to make better connections, be captivated and better understand our history and culture. I know him very well and he normally does so. Myself and I really appreciate your review because it is a kind reminder. I am very happy you still appreciated your tour! Émilie
This is great way to introduce yourself to Quebec. The tour is a nice size, small group. Our tour guide Sam was WONDERFUL. His tour was well paced, and very informative. The information was a nice blend of Quebec's origin, French and American history and general information regarding Quebec. He happily answered questions from the group.
Diane was a fabulous tour guide! Fun, kind, informative and had lots of great suggestions! Great way to learn about Old Quebec.
Excellent guide & very informative!
Superb tour to discover the superb old town of Quebec and learn about its rich history
We expected an informative tour with history of the city, main events, architecture and similar information. There was not much of that. The guide talked about random events, pointed to random buildings or shops, talked about current traditions and ongoing festivals. Perhaps we just got unlucky with the guide. What was good is that we did the tour on day 1, so we got a good sense of where we want to go from there and how to navigate the streets of old town.
Bonjour Luda, I am so so sorry you did not appreciate your tour. I talked with your guide and she told me it was one of the hardest tours she had to do until now since your two teens absolutely showed no interest. Normally, she does not get distracted so easily but this time she did… She normally is great with kids and teens, but no matter what she did she could not reach their attention and she was disappointed in herself. That said, she is very sorry, and also disappointed in herself, since she agrees her tour was not well organized compared to usual and she did not go deep into history. She has taken your review as a lesson. Thank-you! Émilie
