Le Vieux-Québec est la ville la plus européenne d'Amérique du Nord, et cette visite met ses saveurs à l'avant-plan. Sur cinq arrêts dans des rues pavées bordées d'architecture vieille de 400 ans, vous vous frayerez un chemin à travers des siècles de culture culinaire québécoise, de la cuisine réconfortante rustique aux ingrédients raffinés locaux. Vous commencerez par les champignons terriens de la Crinière du Lion et le carpaccio de poitrine de canard, puis vous vous réchaufferez avec le trio sacré de la cuisine traditionnelle québécoise : soupe aux pois soyeuse, pâté chinois salé et tire fraîche à l'érable. Une maison de 200 ans sert des gnocchis faits à la main baignés de cheddar, crème, échalote et vin blanc avec un crumble d'ail noir. Un arrêt sucré vous apporte du sucre à la crème et ce que beaucoup d'habitants appellent le meilleur croissant de la ville. Ensuite, vous fermez la seule façon que vous devriez : avec de la poutine. Les dimanches et lundis, l'arrêt gnocchi est troqué pour un risotto d'avoine chaud couronné d'une salade de crevettes de roche. Les groupes sont gardés petits afin que chaque arrêt semble personnel.

Le grand hôtel emblématique qui domine l'horizon du Vieux-Québec. Symbole de la ville perchée au-dessus du fleuve Saint-Laurent, elle est l'un des points de repère les plus photographiés au Canada et une pièce maîtresse de la haute ville historique.

La promenade en bois longeant le fleuve Saint-Laurent, à côté du Château Frontenac. Il offre une vue imprenable sur l'eau et est l'un des arrêts pittoresques tissés dans le parcours pédestre à travers le Vieux-Québec.
Dans les rues pavées de la vieille ville se côtoient deux des curiosités les plus charmantes du Vieux-Québec. Le premier est un petit bâtiment étroit souvent appelé la plus petite maison en Amérique du Nord, le genre de joyau caché que la plupart des visiteurs flânent juste devant sans un deuxième regard. Juste à côté se dresse l'historique couvent des Ursulines, fondé en 1639 et qui abrite la plus ancienne école de filles du continent. Votre Guide donne vie au contraste, partageant en un seul arrêt les histoires décalées, surprenantes et parfois touchantes qui se cachent derrière les deux, le minuscule et le grand.

Our guide Vincent was knowledgeable and personable. He made the group welcome in Old Quebec. The tastings were well selected to showcase the great food available in this amazing city. In addition to the great food, Vincent provided us with a sense of history as we walked through Old Quebec. Bring your appetite and curiosity to this tour…you will not be disappointed!
We had a wonderful time with Samuel. He was very friendly, and always had a great answer for any of our questions. The cost of the tour was perfect for how much food we tried! I tried so many foods I would never had on my own. Only downside was how short the tour was; 3 hours didn’t feel like enough to me! It was really nice to walk around town and see the busy streets & local restaurants with our guide.

Maude was our tour guide, and she was wonderful. First, everywhere she took us, we later returned during our trip to get more. All of the food was exceptional.....not just good, exceptional. The restaurants, upon our return, did not disappoint. We now believe Quebec is one of the finest food destinations in North America. Maude was a joy! Pamela was an excellent tour guide. She was very informative and kept the tour moving along well. We tried at least 7 different food items all very different and very good. The tour went to a few different area's but was not taxing. I would definitely recommend this tour.
