Description

Unforgettable

Paul was amazing, really knew his stuff and was so quick at spotting stuff. Great photgrapher too and sent me the photos. Saw frogs, snakes, sleeping toucans, spiders, scorpions. But if I saw nothing would still be amazing.

Highly recommend the night tour!

Dylan was our tour guide and we genuinely enjoyed every second, except where the tree fell in the jungle and scared my soul from my body. We saw the Fer de Lance, red eyed tree frogs, tarantulas, and scorpions. Dylan knows the jungle well and is obviously passionate about the ecosystem and all it entails. Highly recommend!

Not to be missed

Probably our favorite tour during our entire tour. Jimmy was a phenomenal guide. One of the highlights was seeing an anteater with a baby on her back. Even Jimmy was excited as he had not seen one in 7 years. We also really liked that he took the photos instead of having us each take one individually through his telescope. As a result, we probably saw more during our tour and definitely got better pictures. After the tour, Jimmy culled through the pictures, downloaded them into s google drive and sent us the link.

Amazing experience

Very interesting and informative tour. Unfortunately it started unseasonably raining - This was good for seeing frogs but we did have to abandon the tour after about 1 hour as it grew quite heavy. The guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and was able to spot so much in the short time we had. We had two young children also on our tour who he was very good with! Normally I would be a bit concerned with children of their age but they were so interested in nature and well behaved! I always felt our group was safe with the guide even when he spotted a Fur de lance on the trail. He always provided clear instructions, explanations and was able to decide when to abandon the tour as necessary. Just a shame I am not staying long enough to go on another tour when dry!

Night Tour with Edwards Madrigal

Outstanding tour! Edwards did a great job of calling our attention to many things in the forest. He was very patient to answers questions and very concerned to give us the best possible experience. The photos he took and shared with us allow us to remember the trip

Recommended, worth it

A great experience the night tour with our guide Pool, knowledgeable about the environment. We saw frogs of different species, tarantula, snake, birds, lizards. Besides, it was just the two of us, so we could enjoy it more carefully.

Magnificent experience

Great night walk with Pool. We had the opportunity to see several birds, frogs, toads, butterflies, bats, insects and arachnids. Even though we spent more than two hours, it got very short. Pool took some good pictures with his telescope and sent them to us later. Absolutely recommended.

Put guests in harms way

Unfortunately my family and the other guests were put in harms way when our guide (Edwardo) did not thoroughly assess the trail for snakes and allowed our group to pass within 1ft of a Fer De Lance viper snake that was on the trail. It was not noticed until a guide passing in the opposite direction noticed the snake and alerted our guide. Multiple guests were wearing tennis shoes and shorts including one child. I understand the risk of going on a night tour but being able to identify a venomous snake on the trail should be a skill all guides possess before bring tourists, including children, into the jungle.
