Dégustez des pâtes fraîches à la riche sauce bolognaise dans des trattorias familiales, dégustez des tortellini faits à la main, du Parmigiano Reggiano vieilli, des charcuteries artisanales et un vinaigre balsamique exquis – chaque bouchée est riche en tradition. Accompagnez le tout de vins mousseux locaux, et vous verrez pourquoi Bologne s’appelle « La Grassa ». La Piazza Maggiore, cœur de Bologne depuis 1200, est entourée de monuments historiques comme la basilique San Petronio et la fontaine de Neptune. Autrefois plaque tournante du commerce et de la vie civique, elle reste le principal lieu de rassemblement de la ville.
Nous visiterons une épicerie fine traditionnelle, une institution locale connue pour ses charcuteries de première qualité, où vous dégusterez différents types de fromage Parmigiano Reggiano au vinaigre balsamique. À proximité, nous verrons des dames habiles, le 'sfogline', faire des pâtes à la main, et vous l'essayerez aussi vous-même!
Entrez dans une charcuterie bolognaise historique ancrée dans la tradition familiale et l'artisanat. Découvrez des produits locaux de grande qualité et savourez une dégustation de mortadelle classique accompagnée de focaccia locale maison.
Mercato di Mezzo est une plaque tournante des saveurs et du commerce depuis l'époque médiévale. Transformé en premier marché couvert de Bologne après l’unification italienne, il a été revitalisé en 2014 et propose désormais des spécialités locales de la gastronomie et du vin.
L’une des plus anciennes boulangeries de Bologne, familiale depuis la fin du XIXe siècle et qui conserve encore son charme d’origine. Découvrez une longue tradition de pâtisserie artisanale et dégustez leur classique gâteau de riz, une spécialité locale appréciée.
Les Deux Tours sont des symboles emblématiques de Bologne, marquant l’entrée de l’ancienne Via Emilia. Construites au XIIe siècle, elles reflètent la puissance et le prestige passés de Bologne, l’une offrant une vue panoramique et l’autre étant célèbre pour son inclinaison spectaculaire.
Dans un pilier de quartier depuis trois décennies, on goûtera aux vraies saveurs locales. Savourez une dégustation de Friggione riche et de tigella (ou crescentina) traditionnelle garnie de prosciutto délicat, avec du vin Lambrusco.
Cette osteria historique a été nommée d'après la fabrique de cloches qui s'y trouvait. Imprégnez-vous de son riche passé, des naissances papales aux confréries étudiantes et aux fresques antiques. Profitez d'une dégustation de tagliatelles à la sauce bolognaise, tortelloni à la sauge et au beurre, au vin de Pignoletto et terminez par un expresso et un tortellino au chocolat.
Depuis le XVIIIe siècle, ce quartier de Bologne est devenu un pôle culturel, l'Université de Bologne ayant transféré ses bureaux de doyen au Palazzo Poggi en 1803. Aujourd'hui, c'est le quartier étudiant de la ville, mêlant bâtiments historiques et street art contemporain et graffiti.

Excellent stops at local establishments including observing ladies making tortellini then making our own! Great lunch at restaurant with their own home made pasta and wine! Returned to the lunch spot for dinner and to bakery to purchase sweets we sampled on the tour! Elena our guide was superb! Informative, knowledgeable, personable and entertaining with tons of history included. The length was perfect and the local venues small and family owned. Group of 7 was great. Highly recommend to include this on your visit to Bologna! 10 out of 10!

This was an excellent food tour. One of the best walking food tours we have taken. 3 hours of temping foods from Bologna. Our guide was amazing. Not only did we enjoy the food, but she provide the history of Bologna and the food. Highly recommend.
