Ciao ! Je suis un chef local, fabricant de pâtes, et Guida Enogastronomica licencié, présenté dans le magazine Forbes comme l'un des meilleurs experts culinaires de Bologne. Je suis titulaire d'un Certificato di Specializzazione IFTS en gastronomie en produits IGP et DOP et étudie la gastronomie à l'Università di Bologna. J’ai cuisiné dans certaines des meilleures cuisines d’Émilie-Romagne, notamment dans un restaurant étoilé. Nous commencerons sous les arches du Palazzo della Mercanzia avec un macchiato et une torta historique dans une pasticceria familiale, puis explorerons le Quadrilatero en révélant les secrets de Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Mortadella IGP et Aceto Balsamico DOP. Goûtez les meilleurs salumis, fromages, pains et vins de Pignoletto de la région – ainsi qu’un Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale DOP de 25 ans – dans la plus ancienne taverne d’Italie (1465). Nous allons procéder avec des tagliatelles al ragù accompagnées d’un verre de Sangiovese di Romagna dans une trattoria bien-aimée, et dire arrivalerci! autour de l’un des meilleurs gelatos artisanaux de la ville.

Rendez-vous et commencez la visite, direction le premier arrêt une pasticceria à proximité pour un macchiato et une torta historiale de Bologne
Après un départ en douceur, écoutez l'histoire de ces tours emblématiques de Bologne, puis continuez vers le Quadilatero
Promenez-vous sur les marchés avec votre chef, goûtez aux délices de saison, puis salumi e formaggi dans un endroit caché populaire Après avoir dégusté un plat de pâtes traditionnel dans la trattoria ou la salumeria familiale.
Vous pourrez déguster plusieurs salumi et condimenti, ainsi que des vins locaux d'Émilie-Romagne, de Pignoletto et de Lambrusco dans un bar à vin historique qui date de 1465. Allez ensuite dans une trattoria locale et dégustez des tagliatelles al ragù faites à la main et un verre de Sangiovese di Romagna
Promenade le long d'Ugo Bassi sous les portici, en route vers la meilleure gelato de la ville!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was a walking food tour but he added a fair amount of history. We were able to taste sweet treats, coffee, meets and cheeses as well as pasta and gelato! Very enjoyable tour!
Excellent way to explore the City
Darren was a wealth of knowledge, and the food was amazing. We honestly can’t think of a better way to learn about a city’s food history than by walking its streets and tasting your way through it. It was also so much fun meeting fellow travellers from around the world, sharing stories, and having plenty of laughs along the way. A fantastic experience from start to finish, and one we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting.
Our guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about the city too. He made sure I had gluten free crackers and cookie!
It was a great day with Darren. He’s a fun guy to walk around with, super knowledgable, good natured, and helpful. He led a group of strangers who all turned into friends by the end of the tour. We liked him enough that our family invited him to join us for dinner! We highly recommend him for this tour.
Our Darren was knowledgable, attentive, and especially personable. We were the only couple on this particular tour and had a wonderful experience visiting several establishments and sampling the fine foods of the Emilia-Romagna region. We were given historical and cultural perspectives for the places and the foods. We would highly recommend taking this tour.
Darren's knowledge and care were excellent. We really enjoyed the group interaction and the food. Of particular importance was that Darren made sure that all activities were tailored to suit my wife in a wheelchair and he was always mindful of her comfort.
We had a truly fantastic time with Darren. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. I didn’t really know what to expect, but he made us feel very welcome and took us through the streets of Bologna to some wonderful places to sample some delicious food.
