A great experience. Beautiful scenery, friendly guides. Felt very safe with my 10 and 7 year old daughters.
Thank you for your kind review! We're delighted to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It's especially wonderful to know that you and your daughters felt safe and well cared for throughout the adventure. We'll be sure to share your compliments with our guides. We hope to welcome your family back again soon!
Great trip, very experienced guide as far as knowledge of horses. The horses were well trained and it was safe. Note that the instructions provided said to wear shorts. Really they should say bring shorts if you want to swim, but wear long pants. Nice lunch after.
We’re glad you enjoyed the trip and felt safe throughout the experience. Our guides take great pride in their knowledge and in working with well-trained horses, so it’s wonderful to hear that this stood out to you. We also really appreciate your feedback about the clothing instructions. You make a great point, and we’ll review this to make it clearer for future guests—bringing shorts for swimming while recommending long pants for riding is definitely helpful guidance.
Take bug spray the horse flies literally pierce your leggings and they are huge! Wear long trousers.
Thank you for sharing your helpful tip! We're glad you took the time to provide practical advice for future travelers. In tropical environments, insects can be more active depending on weather and trail conditions, so we also recommend bringing insect repellent and wearing comfortable long pants when possible. We appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoyed the overall experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to Costa Rica soon!
Hugo, our guide is an expert horseman. He Hugo, our guide, is an expert horseman. He took care to match the correct horse with the person. He shared his knowledge of Costa Rica’s history. The horses are well taken care of and were strong and healthy. I would strongly recommend this tour.

We had such an enjoyable day on the horseback riding adventure! Our guide was excellent and we would definitely recommend this tour! We rode the horses to a beautiful waterfall where we were able to swim, take pictures, and enjoy some time in the relaxing scenery before heading back to the farm to have a lovely prepared lunch and fresh juice. We had such a good time!

This was excellent.. the horses were well cared for and the guide catered to our riding ability. He was from the local area and very knowledgeable. We saw squirrel monkeys along the trail. The landscape was beautiful and the lunch afterwards was as very good.
We’re happy to hear you had such a great experience. It’s especially nice to know the horses were well cared for and that your guide made you feel comfortable based on your riding level. Spotting squirrel monkeys along the trail must have made the ride even more special! We’re also glad you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the lunch afterward.
Booked this experience for a group of 8…6 out of 8 of us were new to horse riding and for few of the 6 it was their first time riding a horse. Our tour guide Hugo was amazing. He gave us the history of the country and the area, as well as a quick lesson on riding. He was very patient with kids and we had a lot of fun. I highly recommend this experience. Will do this again on next trip.
Hugo taught me how to ride from not knowing anything. He took us to a small waterfall to that pictures and let people swim at well. This was a great experience and he was wonderful
We’re so happy to hear Hugo helped you feel comfortable and confident riding, especially as a beginner—that’s a great achievement. The stop at the waterfall sounds like a wonderful moment, and we’re glad you had time to enjoy it, take photos, and even swim.
Beautiful scenery and swimming hole on this ride. The horses were sweethearts. Jasper, our guide, did a wonderful job. The lunch was really good too.
Make sure they don’t like us that at the last minute the local operator canceled our activity because it was oversold and there was no place
