Good experience for a morning or afternoon in Quebec. Great to visit the local farmers and tase the local food on the island. The vinegar/jelly farm and the wine tasting place were my favorite; although I am not going to complain about the nouget's and local strawberries. I also learned how to proper taste vinegar. Guide was knowledgeable and funny. Great tour solo, family or friends.
Saw a large portion of the island and stopped for four tastings. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and easily understood.
This tour is boring. The driver talked on and on about himself. The tastings were minuscule. Two drops of vinegar for tasting? Really? The tour did not stop at any of the farm stands that would have been a great opportunity to actually taste something good from the locals. Instead, the driver parked us in the bus and went to a stand and brought us back a couple of strawberries each-because he wanted some for his lunch. RUDE!
It was wonderful! Our guide, Marty, was very knowledgeable and the tour was well organized. Highly recommend!

The tour did not take place as the streets were blocked. The stair marathon took place all day long.
The pick up location had a specific address for it which everyone who booked the tour was at. However the driver was parked on another street. If someone would ‘t have called the tour company from the stop we were at, I’m not sure if anyone would have made the trip. I felt the stops were rushed. This is advertised as an eating tour and it is not that. Peter, our driver was great. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Out of the 4 stops, the nougat stop was a waste of time. The personal touch didn’t exist with us watching a video. Overall, it was an ok tour.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry about the confusion at the pickup location and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed Peter's knowledge and sense of humor. We also value your comments regarding the pace of the tour and the nougat stop, as they help us improve the experience for future guests.
We enjoyed our tour of the vinagerie. Two wineries and a nougatery. I learned a good bit at each stop and had good tastings. There was not much time to shop at the stops after the tastings. I’d have liked about 10-15 more minutes, even if the cost was a bit more. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave a fun tour!
Thank you for your wonderful review, Marianne! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tastings and learned something new at each stop. We also appreciate your suggestion about allowing a little more time for shopping—feedback like this is very helpful. We're especially pleased that you found your guide knowledgeable and fun. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
The bus microphone was broken so we didn’t learn anything about the land. The bus driver was… angry? About tourists… despite driving a bus full of tourists. He stopped the bus without announcing anything.. and just assumed everyone knew where to go. The first stop at the nouget factory was disappointing. The “samples” were less than bite sized and they played a short video about the history instead of actually speaking with us. The second stop was a cidery. I’d say generously we were given 1/8 a shot of 4 different ciders. And forced to use the same cup every time so all the drinks mixed together. The third stop at the winery was the most redeeming. An actual flight of good pours of wine, with the owner there to talk about her business and their process. Last stop was at a vinegar distillery. It was incredibly short, but the tasting itself was good. If I would have known what I know now, I would have taken my rental car on this excursion instead.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that parts of the experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the microphone, communication, and tasting experiences at some of the stops. We're pleased that you enjoyed the winery visit and found value in meeting the owner. Your feedback is important and will help us improve future tours.
A little bit of everything - drinks, sweets, condiments, history. This is a tasting tour, not an eating tour.
Thank you for your review, Anna! We're glad you enjoyed the variety of tastings, from drinks and sweets to local specialties and history. You're absolutely right—this experience is designed as a tasting tour that showcases the flavors and culture of Île d'Orléans. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to see you again on another Québec adventure!
