As the Quebec city Old Town is pretty small that tour covering most significant attractions at your own pace.
Thank you so much! 😊 Covering the most significant attractions of Quebec's Old Town at your own pace — that's exactly what we want to offer! We hope to welcome you on another adventure in a different city soon! 🗺️
Bit boring. Little interactive. The route is okay but similar is also available for free on the net
Québec City is incredibly picturesque, and this scavenger hunt made exploring it even more fun and immersive! The clues took us through cobblestone streets, historic landmarks, and hidden courtyards in Old Québec that felt straight out of Europe. We learned fascinating facts about the city’s French heritage while solving puzzles and enjoying the scenery. The freedom to stop for coffee or photos made it perfect. A fantastic experience , fun, educational, and beautifully designed!
This could have been the perfect way for us to see the city. We weren't sure if we each needed or own device (if you like to work as a group, one device is fine. It was nice that it was an option to use multiple devices.) The issue was the app ATE battery. We have two androids less than a year old and a brand new Iphone. All three went from full charge to less than 10% in a couple of hours. We had to go back to the hotel room to recharge our phones. Uninstalled the app, and the phones lasted the expected 24+ hours.
Thank you for your feedback and we're glad you found the activity fun and a great way to explore Quebec! 😊 We take your battery concern very seriously — three devices draining that rapidly is not the experience we want anyone to have and we have passed this information to our development team to investigate. You make a great practical point about one device being sufficient for a group — we'll make sure to highlight this more clearly in our instructions. We recommend keeping screen brightness low and closing background apps before starting to help preserve battery life. Please reach out to us at worldcitytrail.com/chat with your booking number and we'd love to find a solution for the interruption to your experience. Thank you for the constructive feedback — it genuinely helps us improve! 🗺️
It was a waste of money, not well planned out. The route was okay but the riddles were bad. Also we paid for 2 but we only needed one, it wasn’t well explained. It was difficult to get into the app as the confirmation number needed wasn’t on the ticket so I had to contact help.
Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry the experience in Old Quebec didn't meet your expectations. We take your comments about the riddles and route planning seriously and will review the Quebec content to make improvements. Regarding the confirmation number — we're sorry it wasn't easy to find on your ticket and that you had to contact support to get started. We'll work on making this clearer in our booking instructions. On the per person pricing — each ticket provides a full individual experience on their own device with personalised audio, which is why tickets are sold per person. We understand this may not have been sufficiently clear before purchase and we'll improve how we communicate this. We hope you'll give us another chance in a different city! 🗺️
My boyfriend and I recently tried the walking tour, and it was the perfect way to explore the charming city of Quebec. We loved how the tour combined history, culture, and a bit of friendly competition. The riddles were challenging enough to keep us engaged, but not so difficult that we got frustrated. One of our favorite moments was solving a riddle that led us to a cozy little café.
My adult daughter and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with this self guided tour. It was an ideal way to explore the area and take in all the sights without missing any. Booking and access via the smartphone was really simple and the tour was fun and informative. We really took our time to explore and follow the trail, which suited us fine and a brilliant alternative to a guided tour with other people, which can sometimes be limiting. The content was great and well thought out and was very reasonable for the price.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
Once we got the hang of the app, it was super fun! Would do this again in other cities. A fun way to see some fun sights!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
Wonderful experience...Value for money. I saw the Chateau Fontanac tour for US $25 separately. $8 for 10 Landmarks was more than a deal! Puzzle at different landmarks incorporated English, Science and History. Great teaching fun tool for my children. Great historical lesson for me to indulge in Quebec city.
