Nice trip outside of Durban, in a great SUV for just the 2 of us. Very friendly guide.
Hi Patrick, Thanks so much for the review, really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the trip out to the Valley of a Thousand Hills, always a nice escape from the city. And good to hear the comfort of the vehicle and the guiding made a difference as well. Hope we’ll see you again next time you’re in Durban. Cheers
We were the only 2 on this tour! Great drive up to 1000 hills where tribal dances and way of life was explained. Then a trip around the reptile park which was fascinating. A knowledgeable man in the reptile park and a lovely lady who took us there. A great afternoon & would recommend
My grandson loves reptiles, so that was the biggest draw, despite the pictures and reviews not matching the activity. Our guide, Vauneen, was prompt, knowledgeable and great with the kids. The PheZulu center has both the Zulu village and dance experience, a restaurant where we had lunch, and the reptile center. So we were happily surprised that we didn't travel to two different locations (Vauneen mentioned that some tours do go to another location on occasion). The Zulu cultural stop was really fun and educational. The staff was entertaining and delivered the traditions (and changes) with humor.. The dancing and music were a hit with young and old. The reptile center had a lot of crocodiles, and our guide made sure we finished up lunch to make the crocodile feeding that was followed by a snake demonstration. It was a fun and easy activity to do with kids while in the Durban area.
Our guide was fantastic friendly helpful And went beyond Fantastic tour well worth booking Highly recommend
We travelled with Endless Summer Tours and our guide/driver was Mariette. She was excellent as both guide and driver. The vehicle was spotless and comfortable. She gave us just enough history and led us to many different experiences
On April 4 and 5 my wife and I did 2 tours from Richards Bay and Durban with Dick and Steve.. Both did a wonderful job . Dick was very helpful in explaining the economy and culture of Richards Bay and South Africa in general while Steve showed us some of the Durban highlights, especially the gardens. The area around the valley of 1 000 hills was beautiful but the Zulu show needs more effort.
We took four one-day tours with Endless Summer while staying in Durban. These included Durban City Tour, Oribi Gorge, Sani Pass and 1000 Hills. Our two local guides were very knowledgable, flexible and creative with our expressed interests. Pickup and return to our hotel was very convenient. Endless Summer was a perfect fit for our time in Durban.
Hi Michael. Thank you for taking the time to review your time with us. It is always great to know we are hitting our mark and delivering the service we promise. All the best for 2020. Cheers.
