A complete tour to visit the magnificent Drakenberg Mountains and the surrounding area. Bule, our guide, knows the region well. The site and the frescoes are UNESCO World Heritage sites. The ascent to the highest point requires a good level of fitness. The views of the landscape are superb. An interesting stop at the significant sites of Gandhi and Mandella, surprisingly close geographically.
I would like to express my gratitude for this incredible experience we had. For all the attention and care they gave us. Our guide, Freddy, was exceptional! A thousand stars for him! He guided us safely, carefully, with good humor and great professionalism. Londiwe was so attentive and kind to our questions. And Mr. Sotiri was understanding and very helpful. You all deserve all the congratulations! Peace and success to all! 💛✨
We had a fantastic time on this tour. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and the sites we visited were both historically rich and incredibly picturesque. Our guide was excellent—he helped us choose the perfect route to maximize our time and experience. His knowledge and flexibility made the entire day enjoyable and seamless. By the end of the tour, we felt enriched and very happy with our decision. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable day out from Durban!
The walk is a very interesting challenge, especially for people over 60 years old like us. We would never have been able to do it without the attentive and empathetic help that Frederick gave us. We have no words to thank you. In the case of Rafael, who explained to us about the cave paintings, we were very satisfied.
We had a great experience and excellent, personalized attention from Bafana and Sotiris on an overnight from Durban through Pietermarizburg to Drakensberg. Their extensive experience and passion as hosts made for a very memorable experience.
You had the best guides in our company and we are so grateful that you had an experience of a lifetime and hope to host you next time you are in Durban
Nice tour, the place of cave paintings is very nice. Very nice that sector of mountains. Hence the place of capture of mandela, there is a museum and the structure seen in the photos. The distances if they are great! The mountains are 3hrs approx and there when catching are like 2 hrs more, so patience.
Thank you so much for choosing us to take care of you in Durban, hope to host you next time you are in Durban
Really fun to go to lots of things to learn about and when you get there you are met with the car that he was caught in when he was trying to get away from the cops. Overall 10/10
Thanks for the review, we are happy we made your experience worthwhile
One of the best tour that I have in SA. The tour guide is a lovely, gentle and upright Greek man. This is the best choice not only for the beautiful road trip but also the nice opportunity to talk with him. I really enjoyed every thing about this trip, better than the one I had in St Lucia. It is a must for people who like road trip, SA history, African Bushman history and hiking. The scenery along the road is very beautiful and diverse. Every site planned in the itinery is worth of visiting. Highly recommend!!!!
