Cenotes Magnifiques, mais pleins de mystère et de magie à la fois, les cénotes sont les plus beaux joyaux de la péninsule du Yucatan. Abrité par la jungle, nager dans un cénote est une aventure à ne pas manquer pendant vos vacances à Cancún, sur la Riviera Maya ou à Tulum. Et vous vous demandez peut-être, que sont les cénotes et pourquoi sont-ils si magiques et mystérieux ? Ici, on vous dit. Que sont les cénotes ? Les cénotes sont de profondes mares d'eau, alimentées par la filtration des eaux de pluie et les courants des rivières qui prennent leur source au cœur de la terre. C'est pourquoi nager dans un cénote est si frais – imaginez, la température moyenne de l'eau est au maximum de 24 °C ! Ces puits doivent leur nom aux Mayas, qui les baptisèrent du mot Dz'onot, qui signifie « grotte avec de l'eau » et de là dérivèrent leur nom actuel : cénotes.

We had a great day trip with Leo (Leonardo), starting early at Tulum before the humid heat and crowds got too bad, then to a lovely cenotes which had four different experiences and places to swim/jump - 2 fully outside and 2 as caves. Lastly we spent some time in playa del Carmen - at a local market, a superstore for cheaper souvenirs, and time on Fifth Avenue for shopping and bars/restaurants. Our hotel pick up was 8am, and we were dropped back around 5pm. We had lunch in a nice local restaurant, which also gave us vegetarian options. We were supposed to swim with sea turtles but nature decided otherwise - unsafe to swim (rough sea, and lots of seaweed), so Leo gave us lots of options of what we could do instead (as well as offering to reschedule the whole day), and we chose the Playa del Carmen options as described. Leo was a great guide for the day, and I highly recommend you spend your day with this company. 👍

We LOVED our day!!!! Leo is THE BEST!!! We started out thinking we were going to snorkel with the turtles and then were headed to Xphua beach for a lazy day of beauty and relaxation. We quickly changed our minds due to the seaweed and Leo suggested cenotes for all of us. There were 7 of us...2 moms and 5 boys; 6-15. The snorkeling was fantastic we saw at least 10 turtles and tons of fish....it was great! Leo then suggested an amazing restaurant that was super cool ...swings for seats, a pool, right on the water and delicious food. The kids loved it and so did we! From there we headed to some caves....but for us, it was 4! 2 open and 2 enclosed. It was even more amazing then the turtles. The kids had the best time and so did we! Leo was fabulous the whole way....we also stopped in town to grab a few things and then he took the boys to see monkeys....it was incredible and he was so good to us all! I would 1000% recommend this team and use them over and over. Thanks again for the best day!

We had an incredible experience with Tours At Your Service while visiting the Tulum area. They organized two fantastic tours for me and my adult children, and everything was seamless from start to finish. Ulises was extremely communicative and responsive, answering all of my questions and making the entire process feel easy and well organized. We did the Chichen Itza tour one day, and a Tulum and snorkeling tour another day - both were absolutely jam-packed with fascinating cultural and historical information. We had an amazing time with Ulises as our transportation and tour guide! He provided punctual and reasonably-priced private transportation for our family of 8 to/from Xcaret and Xel-ha in his clean, roomy and air-conditioned van. This allowed us to get to the parks right as they opened and stay until they closed, which provided stress-free and fun-filled days (we’ve used the Xcaret transportation on previous trips and they make too many stops and end up arriving at the parks about 2 hours after opening time, when it’s most congested…and they also cost about the same, if not more, than what Ulises charged us). We also did the Tulum ruins and Akumal snorkeling tour with Ulises which was INCREDIBLE! Highly recommended! We highly recommend Ulises for all your tour and transportation needs, especially if you’re traveling in a group. He is honest, kind, and punctual - we’re so glad we met him!
