Wonderful experience. The driver was excellent and as a guy tour was fantastic.

We loved our journey with Billy from Edinburgh to Inverness. I reached out early in the year to book, knowing how quickly tours can fill for Scotland. Lawrence was my initial contact and Billy was our tour guide for the day. The tour was for just my sister and I, and it was a nice personal journey through the Highlands. Billy was kind and knowledgeable on everything Scottish - he let us pick and choose where we wanted to go, plus had some great local knowledge of quiet little places for beautiful pictures. I loved hearing his stories. This is the tour group to go with for a private, personal experience.

Our party of four booked two transfer with tour trips (Edinburgh to Inverness, Inverness to Edinburgh) and a one-day Highland tour in between. See my other reviews for details on the others. For our transfer trip (with tours) from Inverness to Edinburgh we had Lawrence as our driver/guide. He was great fun to spend the day with and made our day special. Along with planned stops at Pitlochry and Sterling Castle, but most importantly, Lawrence customized the trip to help us find and take a photo in front of my grandmother’s childhood home in Perth. It was a high point of our trip, and we would not have been able to find it without Lawrence.

Both Lawrence and Billy were fantastic guides. Considerate and knowledgeable, making helpful recommendations along the way. We throughly enjoyed or experience.

Lawrence was an exceptional tour guide for our group. He was able to easily communicate with our group and even adjust when our flight was delayed. He went above and beyond and his other driver Keith was great. We felt very well taken care of during our entire time. They were able to provide great recommendations and make our travel so easy. We would highly recommend Lawrence and his company to anyone visiting Scotland.

Lawrence was an excellent guide for our quick Scotland adventure. My husband wanted to go to Scotland for his birthday while we were visiting friends in London. We only had a couple of days, and Lawrence was able to hit all the highlights between Inverness and Edinburgh with our customized transfer tour. Between picking us up at the airport and delivering us to our hotels, he entertained us with stories of the past and present and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and have a dram. We will definitely set up another tour with him when we get a chance to spend more time in Scotland, and our friends are already excited to use him when they take their family there soon.

We had a wonderful day / transfer with Lawrence. The entire day was tailored to our interests and Lawrence did a wonderful job providing us historical context to everything we were seeing. Could not have been better, thank you!

I wanted to do a customised "pictish trail" tour on the Black Isle. Lawrence did a great job not only taking me around but having the Groam house museum opened for me in the morning and one of their guides coming with us. This was unexpected and extremely interesting. We had a good time together. I can only recommend this small family agency to everyone.

What a fantastic Scottish tour from Inverness to Edinburgh! We used Lawrence earlier in the week for the private Loch Ness tour. He was so amazing we booked him for a tour down to Edinburgh to transfer for the remaining part of our trip. The journey was filled with breathtaking scenery, and our stops at Fraser Castle and the Kelpies were definite highlights. The tour guide’s insightful commentary added depth to the experience, making the history and legends come alive. From the majestic Fraser castle to the awe-inspiring Kelpies, every moment was unforgettable. The van was spacious and comfortable for the five of us. It could easily add 1-2 more. Again, he had Scottish snacks, crisps, and water at the ready. He also researched our route down hitting the spots we desired and picked out a fantastic pub/restaurant to break up the trip in a charming town. A big thumbs up for this well-organized and captivating tour!
