Kyleakin est notre premier arrêt sur l'île de Skye. Ce village pittoresque offre la possibilité de prendre quelques photos de l'impressionnant pont de Skye.
Il est temps de déjeuner dans la jolie ville portuaire de Portree : attention aux mouettes affamées ! En plus de sa beauté naturelle, Portree possède une histoire et un patrimoine culturel riches. Le nom de la ville est dérivé du gaélique « Port-an-Righ », qui signifie « port du roi », reflétant son importance historique en tant que port royal. Aujourd'hui, Portree est une communauté dynamique alliant charme traditionnel et équipements modernes.
Les Fairy Pools sont une série de bassins et de cascades enchanteurs et cristallins nichés au pied des montagnes Cuillin, ils offrent une beauté éthérée et une atmosphère magique. Nous profiterons d'une promenade jusqu'à ces cascades bleues et vertes - et si vous êtes courageux, vous pourriez même faire un plongeon! Assurez-vous d'apporter des chaussures confortables pour la marche et une veste de pluie en cas de temps humide. * Veuillez noter que pendant les mois d'hiver, les conditions météorologiques peuvent signifier qu'il est parfois impossible de visiter les piscines des fées. Lorsque c'est le cas, nos chauffeurs-guides experts adapteront l'itinéraire aux conditions, vous permettant d'explorer certains des autres points forts de l'île de Skye.
Le vieux pont de Sligachan se dresse comme un témoignage rustique de l'histoire au milieu du décor à couper le souffle des montagnes Cuillin sur l'île de Skye. Il crée une scène emblématique qui capture la beauté intemporelle et le charme sauvage des Highlands écossaises.
Ce château écossais historique et emblématique est perché sur une petite île où trois lochs se rencontrent, offrant un cadre pittoresque étonnant qui en a fait l'un des monuments les plus célèbres d'Écosse. Voir le château et admirer le paysage environnant.

Willie was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable about the area as well as the tour industry. I especially appreciated that he altered the timing of the itinerary to try to get us to the spots when it wouldn’t be so crowded. Not only did he do this but he also made some amazing extra stops along the way that showed just how well he knows the area. The mic wasn’t working consistently on the bus which was no fault of his but he made it work. It was a very pleasant day and I appreciated his thoughtfulness in trying to make sure we have the best experience.
Originally we were going to drive ourselves and tour Skye. We decided at the last minute to book this tour and are so thankful we did. Our tour guide (Cullen) was so much fun and knowledgeable. It was a small group of 15 of us; perfect size for the areas we visited. Everyone was so respectful of the timeliness set by our driver. We saw some of the most beautiful places. So thankful we found this tour and so worth the fee. We were gone for almost 12 hours and would book again if we return to Scotland in the future. Couldn't have picked a better way to spend my birthday!
Cualann was the most entertaining, fun, and engaging guide for the trip. He had a fun playlist that went along with the different sights that we saw, shared so much history and information about each sight that we saw that he made the trip more enjoyable, especially the 'saucy stories'! He was accommodating to the group, and we got to make lots of little stops to take pictures, stretch our legs, or take a toilet break. It was nice to be in a smaller van/group and the weather cooperated for us. I would absolutely recommend asking for him as a tour guide. The one thing that I was disappointed in was that most of the guests didn't tip him, as he spent all day regaling us with stories, driving us all around, and I feel like he went above and beyond what a tour guide needs to do. Tip for guests - the Fairy Pools is a decent hike, and there were lots of biting gnats (midgies) so either take bug spray or we did see lots of tourists wearing netting over their heads.

Tour of Isle of Skye & Fairy Pools were fabulous! The sights were amazing! The tour guide Tabbie did a really good job & made it fun. She had a lot of interesting stories & was full of information about Scotland, its lore & history. Would’ve enjoyed a little less talking & more Scottish music at times though.

Tabbie, our tour operator was very cheerful, helping one with excellent tour stories telling capacity. For her, the whole tour was very enjoyable. Best for solo travellers like me. The atmosphere is also very welcoming.
