My partner and I recently did the "Tapas entre viñas" tour from Valencia, and it was the perfect wine lover's day out! We thought about planning it ourselves and driving but actually the convenience of having round trip transport taken care of let us completely relax and enjoy the experience and we could both drink too. Costs wise, we felt it worked out when you account transport, fuel, time, entry fees, lunch as well as having an expert guide such as Elise. We loved exploring the Utiel-Requena region, visiting two distinct wineries including Murviedro with the historical aspects, and tasting some incredible local wines including new grape varieties such as Bobal. The absolute highlight was the delicious, relaxed lunch at the family run Vera de Estenas winery, where we shared fantastic tapas. It was an incredibly, well-paced, and memorable experience. The timings worked out that we then had the later part of the afternoon and evening to ourselves (either continue drinking or take a siesta!). We couldn't recommend it more!

Elise was a wonderful host and guide. She is very knowledgeable and has relationships with some wonderful wine proprietors. From start to finish, the entire day was top tier. I learned a lot and got to experience some delicious and unique wines, as well as food. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful wine tour with Elise. The tour was booked directly with her on the website. Pre-tour communication was outstanding and we really appreciated her being able to fit us into the schedule while we were in Valencia. The meeting point was a short tram ride from our accomodation. We were with one other couple and really enjoyed getting to know them throughout the day. The two wineries we visited were fantastic as they showcased two very different approaches. One was a larger more commercial operation and the other a small family run winery. We enjoyed tasting three wines at each location, along with some snacks to accompany the tasting. At the second winery we also had our pre-selected tapas along with a bottle of wine. The information that Elise provided throughout the day was very informative and we also appreciated hearing about her background, family and business. All in all it was a very enjoyable day and would highly recommend this tour.

I wanted to visit VERA Estenas and was recommended Combina con Vino by them. It was easy to book and there were a few different packages offered. I chose wine tasting with tapas. We visited two different vineyards, one a little bigger and one a little smaller family-owned vineyard. Both were very interesting to see and the food was delicious! Our guide Elise was very nice and accommodating. I am very happy that I chose this option.

Elise took my wife and I out for a day in the vineyards on a wintery afternoon. Absolutely lovely. Elise has, what appears to be, generally free reign at the vineyards with extensive knowledge of each which she's willingly ready to share. A tour of the vineyards, the wine-making areas and then tastings of several wines at each stop. The tapas at Vera de Estenas were excellent. We learned so much about the area from Elise and enjoyed so many new wines (such as Bobal) we had some shipped home. Highly recommend Elise and these wines, all of which were new to us, and if you have the time, we suggest you take a day to do the same.

Today we visited two beautiful wineries in the Utiel-Requena region. We concluded our tour with a variety of tapas served at the second winery. It was a memorable day! Our guide, Elise, was not only very friendly, but also very knowledgeable. At the first winery, we discovered Murviedro wines, which are aged in caves! We had never visited a winery like this before... It was great! The second winery, Vera de Estenas, is a family-owned winery, where Elise taught us about the winemaking process. The family home is a beautiful old house with a lovely garden, where we had lunch! We recommend this tour with Elise! It's definitely worth it!

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, bathing the vineyard in golden light that made the whole setting feel like a scene from a postcard. The sense of history was palpable, and it gave us such a deep appreciation for the tradition behind every glass. Of course, the wine itself was spectacular, and when paired with a delicious tapas tasting, it became a feast for both the palate and the soul. Each bite and sip felt like a celebration of Spain’s rich culture. It was one of those rare days where everything aligned—the guide, the food, the wine, the setting, and the sunshine. Elise was very professional and communicative when booking. The process was very simple. We decided to take a wine tour in Valencia for our wedding anniversary. Make sure to choose hotel pickup - it was so nice to be picked up and dropped off after a beautiful day! The car was comfortable that picked us up and the drive was smooth. We went to two fabulous wineries and had some charcuterie at the first and then a tapas meal at the second. The views were spectacular and the wine was truly incredible. And the tapas - *chef's kiss*. Valencia has a great wine country outside the city to explore. Elise was always on hand to educate us about wine in this region and we learned a lot, especially as seasoned wine enthusiasts. It was truly a spectacular day and we highly recommend this tour!
