Itinéraire
Le premier arrêt de votre journée sera le parc archéologique de la Neapolis: vous admirerez l'héritage des cultures grecque et romaine, comme le théâtre grec, l'oreille de Denys et la latomie.
Ensuite, vous vous déplacerez vers la belle île d'Ortygie, le centre historique de Syracuse, qui est reliée à la ville par un court pont. Ici, vous vous promènerez à travers les ruelles et les places de la vieille ville en découvrant ses monuments, à partir des ruines du temple d'Apollon, jusqu'à la cathédrale et la fontaine d'Arethusa
La dernière étape de votre journée sera Noto, considérée comme la capitale du baroque sicilien: en effet, avec 7 autres villes construites dans le même style architectural, a été déclarée en 2002 patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco comme «villes baroques tardives du Val di Noto ».

Our tour guide Roberto was amazing! He drove us from Taormina to Siracusa, Ortigio and Noto. All along the way he shared lots of local and historical information with us. His English was very good and he was such a gentleman! Thank you, Roberto!
It was an excellent day! I loved having so much free time. Tony was superb! I would definitely recommend this tour company.
This is a good trip with a lot packed in, I did think it could be a little shorter as we did get stuck in traffic both ways which did made it feel like a long day. The places we visited were interesting, lunch was nice, it was a very large sandwich in the market area and our guide was good and made sure we had everything we needed. My only negative would be Neapolis where you have to pay for entrance but not all of the exhibits were open and there was no audio guide available however this is not the fault of the tour company and it would not put me off recommending the trip.
We decided to travel to Syracuse ourselves anyway via bus on the same day and it was warm and dry - no unsafe streets as told to us by the tour company- not a puddle or raindrop in sight. This is very disappointing as we had booked it in advance and were really looking forward to learning more of the history of Sicily and really wanted yo visit Noto. If we had been told 24 hours in advance and not 20 minutes before we may have been able to reschedule. Next time the tour company needs to check one of the many available weather apps before deciding it would rain on the day.
Hello, we first thank you for your feedback. We are glad you were still able to go by bus and visit Siracusa on your own. The main issue wasn't the rain in Siracusa, but the heavy rain in the early morning in the Taormina area; the highway in this area was in fact impassable, and the driver wasn't even able to arrive in Taormina in the morning. Thankfully the weather got better during the day and they managed to clear the streets later in the morning, but at the time of the departure, the street conditions didn't allow us to drive hence we unfortunately had to cancel the tour, as the safety of our customers is always our first priority. We are sorry for any discomfort this may have caused you.
Excellent tour! Frequent communication before and also about traffic delays for pick up. Brand new car, friendly guide ( Alfie), only 6 people. We had great time, plus very tasty lunch. I can highly recommend this trip
My husband and I booked the Siracusa & Noto small group tour from Taormina with Alfio. He was great and did a great job navigating the two groups, my husband and I speaking English and the other party speaking Spanish. Easy and straight forward pick up. He gave us great tips and a map of sights we should see at each stop. The tour even had a wonderful lunch planned in Siracusa. This was a great way to see multiple towns and sights with guidance, if you have a shorter time in Sicily. Thank you Alfio for a memorable tour!
We were very much looking forward to our trip to Syracuse and Noto. The sights certainly did not disappoint. Ortigia was definitely a highlight, a beautiful place to visit. Noto was also a highlight. However, unfortunately our driver did not live up to expectations. Reading other reviews, we were expecting some information about the places we visited. However, our drivers’ english was quite poor so we did not receive any information about the places, just pick up time. We also drove around Ortigia for 45 minutes for no apparent reason. We went around the same streets 2 or 3 times before our lunch stop, which was underwhelming given what we had read in past reviews.
Nikolai was an extraordinary driver for our tour!! He spoke very good English, answered our many questions along the way, made us laugh with his stories!! The pizza lunch he provided was fabulous!!!
Enjoyed walking around the towns and the food tasting. People were nice. Great customs. A full day of joy.
