We had the best time in this cooking class. chef Mimmo was great and also fun. The food was amazing and we learned to make so many different types of things. I would highly recommend this one if you plan to do a cooking class while in Sicily.
This was a wonderful experience! We were on a cruise that was docked in Catania, so getting to Taormina was a concern. But we found a wonderful taxi driver at the port who drove us there and brought us back. Shout out Giuseppe! Chef Mimmo and his team are exceptional! We had the best time learning, cooking, eating, and drinking! And the food was delicious! We will definitely make pasta at home now! I highly recommend this excursion!!! Don’t hesitate if you’re considering it!
This cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily! As a family, we learned how to make authentic pizza and cannoli from scratch, and everything was absolutely delicious. Chef, Mimmo was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and easy to follow. He shared his passion for Sicilian cooking, and we learned so much while having a wonderful time together. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Sicily. It’s a fun, authentic, and unforgettable experience!
My husband and I had so much fun! We learnt how to make a lot of different types of pasta, sauce recipes and fish. The class itself was a vibe, there was music and everyone was lovely and warm. Highly recommend this experience.
This cooking class was exceptional. A lot of fun, learning and incredible food the class prepared. All 4 courses were some of the best food I had this trip and I’ve eaten well. The staff was terrific and it was fun eating with the entire group at the end. Highly recommend!
This cooking class with Chef Mimmo was an unforgettable part of our trip to Italy. We had so much fun and genuinely learned a new skill - making fresh pasta. The meal our group created together was one of the best we had in our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. We cooked, we laughed, we ate. What could be better?
Cooking class was phenomenal. A highlight of our European cruise trip excursions. Chef Mimmo was the consummate host. The food was outstanding and truly delicious. His mother was the sous chef and delightful to work with. It’s a four class and worth every penny. We would do it again in a heartbeat. It may be enough to have us come back to Sicily justfor this.
Chef Mimmo was informative as well as entertaining (kitchen meets theatre !) His schedule progressed according to plan (from going to market to the extensive yet fun food preparation) and the dinner finale was outstanding! Mimmo has a great team! The weather was perfect and the setting wonderful. His historical knowledge of Sicily and the regional food touched us deeply as Richard has Sicilian ancestry and Terri has some middle eastern roots. We highly recommend this!
