Découvrez les villages de Taormina et Castelmola et leurs vues uniques et impressionnantes avec nous. Castelmola Sicile est l'un des plus beaux villages d'Italie, à 550 mètres d'altitude. Nous finirons sur sa place panoramique, où nous serons surpris par la vue, d'un côté, sur l'Etna - le plus haut volcan actif d'Europe. Nous nous arrêtons également au cafès local pour déguster le vin d'amande douce typique. Notre tour d'une journée se poursuit avec un tour de Taormine, pour visiter la destination touristique la plus populaire de la Sicile, qui a été récemment rendue si possible encore plus célèbre par la deuxième saison de la Sicile du Lotus blanc. Lors de la visite de Taormina dans le Corso Umberto, vous serez fasciné par une explosion de couleurs, de sons et de saveurs typiques de la Sicile. Ne manquez pas les églises, les bâtiments anciens et les boutiques exclusives, ainsi que de superbes vues pour prendre des photos fantastiques! La visite de Taormina et Castelmola sera une expérience inoubliable et multi-sensorielle.

Corso Umberto est la rue principale de Taormina
La Piazza Duomo est située dans le centre historique de Taormina et est le point de rendez-vous d'où commence la visite du Corso Umberto I, la rue principale.
La fontaine est de style baroque et tire son nom de "4 fontaines" des quatre petites colonnes situées aux quatre coins du corps central et surmontées de quatre hippocampes de la bouche d'où provient l'eau qui se termine dans les plateaux situés au-dessous. .
Le Palazzo Ciampoli était une résidence seigneuriale de style catalan.
La forteresse de la cathédrale, selon la définition de la cathédrale de Taormina, a été construite vers 1400 sur les ruines d'une petite église du Moyen Âge dédiée à San Nicola di Bari.
Avec le troisième mur, dont les vestiges sont encore visibles du côté droit jusqu'au château, il délimit la partie de la ville définie comme "village du XVe siècle".
La Piazza IX Aprile est le "salon" le plus élégant de Taormina. Les bars en plein air et les artistes qui peignent des portraits et des paysages sont caractéristiques.
Cette église est située à proximité de la Torre dell'orologio et donne sur la place IX Avril.
L'église se dresse sur les ruines de l'Odéon, construite également sur les ruines d'un théâtre grec dédié à Aphrodite

Very nice excursion. Easy to meet up with leader Maririta, who was a delight. She was engaging and entertaining. Taormina was a very nice upscale town with lots of expensive shops and restaurants. Castelmola was a very small town, further up the mountain with great views. My wife ended this very much. Transportation was comfortable in a 20 passenger bus
Absolutely Wonderful Tour — Mariarita Was Amazing! What a fantastic day exploring Castelmola and Taormina! From beginning to end, this small-group tour was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Mariarita, was absolutely amazing! She was fun, energetic, incredibly informative, and so personable. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she had a wonderful way of sharing the history and culture of Sicily while keeping everything relaxed, entertaining, and enjoyable. You could truly tell how much she loves what she does. We also had such a great group, which made the day even more special. Beautiful scenery, charming towns, lots of laughs, and wonderful company — it was one of those days you just don’t want to end. Castelmola and Taormina were breathtaking, but Mariarita truly made the experience unforgettable. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!

Pick up seamless, easy and a huge smile directly off the cruise ship in Messina port. Immediately felt we had made the right choice thanks to the welcome and introduction of the day from our guide Mariarita. Both destinations were wonderful, and Mount Etna was one of the highlights of our whole cruise. A brilliant trip, made into a 5 star experience by Mariarita’s hospitality, heart, and perfect ability to deliver a wonderful experience for a very diverse group. Would highly recommend
This was a very interesting tour with beautiful views. The tour guide provided tons of information. The meetup point was well organized and easy. We did find the free time in Taormina excessive. Nearly 3 hours in the hot August sun was way too much.
We had a wonderful tour with Serena as our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Our driver amazing maneuvering those crazy narrow and winding roads! We would recommend this tour to those coming off cruise ships for the day.
Stress free meet, greet and immediately picked up from gate 5 at the cruise terminal. Claudio, a very friendly and knowledgeable guide looked after us well and gave us enough commentary along the way to each destinations. He takes you to all the best photographic spots with enough time to relax in each destination. Book the extra visit to the ancient open air theatre (14 euros each) and Claudio will treat you to an opera performance that echos through the theatre- he was fantastic and received much applause from other tourists. You’ll arrive back at the port 1.5 hours before sail away, so enough time to visit the city centre before you disembark.
Great tour guide in Marialeta. My only complaint is when the bus dropped us off a mile away from our ship and we had to suffer a long hot walk back to the ship. Why can’t the bus get us closer to the ship?
If you want a stress free trip where you can trust the company, this is it. I booked this with my wife and one year old and could not have been happier. I had many logistical questions out of concerns that I was traveling with a one year old. They answered everything immediately. They messaged me through WhatsApp and on the app, the communicated clearly. Upon arrival to my cruise port they were waiting right on the dock and clearly identifiable with my last name on paper. We were ushered to our air conditioned van with comfortable seating and our guide Sabrina and driver Giacomo were excellent. Book this trip. Great company, great excursion, great guides, great communication.
