Échappez à la foule et prenez de superbes photos lors d'un Photo Trek inoubliable ! Sortez des sentiers battus aujourd'hui pour visiter les sites côtiers de Juneau sur un type unique de scooter personnel : un Segway. Vous prendrez la route et la plage lors de cette visite amusante de 3 heures. En partant, vous rencontrerez immédiatement une vue sur le majestueux glacier Mendenhall. Naviguez le long de la côte et faites plusieurs arrêts pour prendre des photos tout en admirant les eaux cristallines du canal Lynn, qui fait partie du passage intérieur. Parce que vous êtes sur un Segway, vous aurez l'occasion d'interagir intimement avec la nature. Écoutez les cris des aigles en vol, les vagues qui lèchent le rivage et peut-être même apercevez-vous occasionnellement des baleines à bosse. Descendez ensuite de votre Segway et parcourez un court sentier de 7 minutes jusqu'à une plage isolée pour profiter d'un simple rafraîchissement. Plongez dans la forêt nationale de Tongass, une forêt pluviale tempérée et la plus grande forêt nationale des États-Unis.

Fun! Scenic! Informative! Carli, our guide was bubbly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Segways were smooth and so easy to ride. Saw too many bald eagles to count. Could spend all day !

We have always enjoyed Segway tours. What an amazing machine. Our cruise ship called in at Juneau and we booked the Segway forest tour. Overall, we really enjoyed it. Guides Alta and Phoenix were outstanding and wonderful hosts, being most welcoming and courteous. Alta was a great communicator. In a first for me on a Segway tour, each Segway had a radio attached to it so we could enjoy Alta's fascinating commentary throughout the tour. What worked well: excellent guiding and well maintained vehicles; the Segway travel was well supervised alongside a quite road on an island; we learned many interesting things during our walk into the forest thanks to great commentary. It was a great tour. What could be improved: if you are looking for an off-road adventure on a Segway, this trip is probably not for you. The Segways are driven more or less in a straight line along the side of a road. This didn't bother me as the scenery was outstanding and the walking tour into the forest was really enjoyable. Going in a straight line was sufficient to give me my Segway 'fix'.

The Coastal Segway Tour along Douglas Island follows a scenic coastal route with beautiful views of the glacier and the surrounding Alaskan mountains, many of which you mentioned you loved during your visit. Our Alpine Segway Tour is a more adventure-focused experience set in the rainforest on a cross-country ski trail. This route is off-road and allows guests to ride directly through the forest environment, offering a very different perspective of Southeast Alaska’s wilderness. It’s designed for those looking for a more rugged and immersive Segway experience, while still being fully guided and supported throughout. Many guests are looking for different types of experiences, which is why we offer both Segway tours. Both options offer something unique, and we always encourage guests to choose based on the experience that best fits what they’re hoping to do. We’re very happy you enjoyed the Coastal tour, and we’d love to welcome you back in the future to experience the Alpine rainforest adventure as well!

A Segway voyage along a road adjacent to the ocean and a forest. Lasted a couple hours. Phoenix is a great guide with tons of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. We also took a short hike through a dense, lush forest with a hiking trail. We photographed bald eagles, porcupines, woodpeckers, Jay's. and a great view of Mendenhall glacier. I highly recommend!

We signed up for the Segway tour. We were a group of 3, and none of us had prior experience riding a Segway and didn't have much expectation but it turned out to be a GREAT experience! Had a great tour with Alta and Phoenix our guides for the afternoon. We were collected on time at the cruise terminal by Maddie and taken a short bus ride to Douglas Island. We were given time to get to grips with the seaway and felt very reassured by Chris who calmed some nerves! The scenery was beautiful and we found our guides to be really knowledgeable and informative. I would recommend this trip to couples, groups and families.
