Découvrez l'île de Saona, joyau naturel de la République Dominicaine, connue pour ses plages de sable blanc, ses eaux turquoises, et ses palmiers infinis, uniquement accessibles par bateau, loin du tourisme de masse. Embarquez pour une excursion conviviale d'une journée en petit groupe, accompagné d'un Guide Anglais Nous embarquons à bord du voilier catamaran vers 9h puis allons au lieu de plongée en apnée de Catuano, où, vous découvrirez beaucoup de poissons tropicaux, où vous serez accompagnés par notre Guide Quetzal, moniteur de plongée Certifié ! Après la plongée en apnée, nous profiterons de l'une des plus magnifiques plages de sable blanc de la République dominicaine pendant 3 heures. Dans ce lieu préservé, loin de la foule, un repas simple mais savoureux vous sera servi directement sur la plage, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et décontractée, les pieds dans le sable. Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers la piscine naturelle de Las Palmillas, est un endroit isolé magique avec la plus claire des eaux où vous pouvez voir des étoiles de mer.

Nous vous recevrons à Bayahibe pour monter à bord du catamaran
Après 1 heure de navigation, nous nous arrêterons à l'endroit de plongée, à l'île de Saona. Votre Guide vous montrera tous les types de poissons tropicaux que nous pouvons avoir comme la raie, le homard, le poisson-globe...
Vous profiterez d'une plage incroyable avec du sable blanc, de l'eau bleue... Nous profiterons d'un endroit loin de la foule touristique... ici, marcher sur la plage, nager, bronzer ou prendre un verre... à vous de décider, nous nous adaptons à votre rythme ! Le déjeuner sera servi à la plage, dans un espace privé pour notre entreprise. Vous profiterez d'environ 3 heures de tranquillité. Nager, se détendre, marcher le long du rivage – un cadre de carte postale idyllique loin de la foule.
A 14h30 nous monterons à bord du bateau pour naviguer vers la piscine naturelle, située à une trentaine de minutes de Saona. Vous verrez des étoiles de mer incroyables et profiterez d'un verre dans les eaux peu profondes.

Catamaran trip was fun, food was good, the beach and snorkeling spot was good. Enjoyed meeting Jorge and his family from Argentina and Charlotte did a great job making sure that we enjoyed ourselves!

Fantastic family excursion to Isla Saona. We had a blast. The crew was amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable. Entire tour was well-organized - and the areas we visited were absolutely stunning. Lunch was great too. Highly recommend!

We just came back from Punta Cana. We chose Quetzal excursions for a catamaran excursion of Saona Island because of all the great reviews. They were right. Charlotte and the crew were fantastic. From the taxi , to the water taxis to and from the catamaran, everything was smooth and organized. They did not overcrowd us, took us to beautiful locations to snorkel and see starfish. It was relaxing and fun. And on top of it they served us a delicious lunch. Thank you for a great day!

Small boat excursion (no loud music, departure on time, etc.). We were one of the first ones on the island (which allowed us to enjoy it peacefully). The only nit is that you have to disembark the boat via a small boat, which adds more to the transport time (about 30 min each time).

This is not the first time we have used this company. What an organization is always at the top with a taxi bus that picks us up from our hotel in Puntacana and takes us to the departure place of the Excursions. In small group, super nice with a very well organized accompanying team.. very friendly. Thank you so much.🙏

This place was beautiful but so not worth it for the travel, be prepared to transfer from van to van to bus and then sit and wait for 30 mins or more for other groups, once you get on the water it’s a nice enough ride and the views are stunning but the food is bad (pasta was mushy, everything under-seasoned) and the journey back is long, you have to transfer between boats and end up having to sit and wait for up to an hour, it ended up being a 13.5 hr day for us with most of it being travel and wait time. The last time we ate was around noon and we didn’t have access to more food until almost 10pm. I never write reviews but this trip was pretty brutal, we were exhausted and starving by the end of it.

We had a fantastic day with Charlotte, Valentin and all the crew who all worked so hard to ensure we had a great day and were all looked after. I searched for a while before finding this operator to Saona island. We wanted to avoid a ‘party boat’ type of experience and a smaller group trip, which this was exactly. We saw some great spots, quieter locations and everything was run smoothly and explained very well in numerous languages. They offered all sorts of drinks, snacks, refreshments and a nice bbq lunch which was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend if you’re a couple or a small group looking for a more relaxed experience. It was a wonderful experience, everything was impeccably organized, starting from the collection from the hotel in the morning with exact indications of time and place, until the return back to the hotel, I recommend it to anyone, I would only say that it would be desirable that the stops on the island and at the natural pool were longer. I give you 5 stars with congratulations.
