Fantastic tour! Roberta is wonderful and very knowledgeable. Seeing La Pigna was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend!
Roberta was amazing. So knowledgeable And great on not only providing tastes and information about the food of Sanremo but also the history of the town. Lovely person and very special day and a memorable experience!
Roberta was amazing. So knowledgeable about the town, its history, and food. Her family has lived here for generations and she is passionate about it
A lovely morning spent wandering the city learning about its history and artisan foods, with an opportunity to taste them too.
Having vegan breakfast in Sanremo is pure utopia....x the songs known all over the world... if you have the money they put you on the red carpet... if you are vegan you have to skip breakfast because there is no bar where you can enjoy a vegan croissant and cappuccino ... really shameful and then we talk about progress ...Welcoming ... and try to meet anyone ... 2025 ... no maybe we are still in 1950
The comments perfectly accompanied the discovery of the city. The various tastings of local products were also adequate
This is a not to miss culture tour. Roberta is very knowledgeable about the area and we all learned a lot. First, we went through a shopping area and she pointed out some well-known or famous stores — one which was frequented by Grace Kelly. Then we went to a little shop which had delicious cookies After that, we went to absolutely gorgeous old town area. Roberta is practically a professor with her knowledge of the history of the old town and The pirate problem. It’s quite a history tour, but not really a food tour. Along the way we met some colorful characters like a man who paints fish all over the place in the old town and another man who sang Ave Maria in a beautiful Gothic church. I highly recommend this tour!! Then we went to a delicious wine/cheese shop to sample a little bit of wine and had many focaccias of four different varieties. Last she told us the difference between and ice cream and took us to a delicious place for gelato Everybody left happy and I would sign up again in a minute.
My family group of 6 (2 grandparents, 1 parent, and 3 children) had a wonderful tour with Roberta. She was attentive to the kids' needs and made them feel welcome and included. At the same time, she shared history and info about SanRemo with us adults. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the amount of walking was great--not too much but enough to make us hungry again for the next stop. We ate street food and tasted local products and even had a stop at a local cheese and meat shop where the owner shrink-wrapped my purchases to legally bring overseas. We had a great meal of Italian prosciutto and melon, fresh olive oil and crumbly cheese and and crusty bread, local Taggiasca olives, and wine after arriving home. It was worth filling half a suitcase and dragging it home, and although the bread and melon weren't from SanRemo, everything else was. The meal gave us a wonderful opportunity to remember the day and the care that Roberta took with us and the extra things she did and thought of. All 6 of us are ready to come again. Thank you, Roberta, for a wonderful day. We will remember it and you fondly!
This tour is well worth the time and money. Roberta is an absolute wonderful guide who is extremely knowledgeable of the history of Sanremo. Her recommendations for different food shops and restaurants were spot on. We were fortunate to have Roberta to ourselves on this tour. You will enjoy spending time with her. We are already planning to take some of her other tours in the area.
Roberta's Food Tour was amazing! She takes her time with everything. She showed us the most beautiful places of La Pigna/Sanremo. Things you walk past yourself, tips where you can eat well and where you can buy good food. Delicious tastings without feeling obliged to buy anything. Highly recommended to get to know the city and get to know other people.
