Grande nouvelle, les grottes Sterkfontein dans le berceau de l'humanité sont maintenant ouvertes après avoir été fermées pendant 2 ans. Classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. C'est une fois dans une vie de temps à vivre. La visite du village culturel de Lesedi vous donne une très bonne expérience historique et culturelle du peuple africain en Afrique du Sud. Visiter des fermes et découvrir leur danse, leur musique et leur nourriture est une aventure fantastique. Le Dancing and Song est considéré comme le meilleur divertissement africain de la région. Pour ceux qui veulent inclure un repas sud-africain dans l'expérience, il est disponible après la visite. Rencontrez “Mrs Ples”, l’“Enfant Taung” et le “Petit Pied” aux Grottes Sterkfontein. Le lundi, nous allons au musée Maropeng car les grottes sont fermées. NB NB Veuillez noter que les heures de ramassage de 7h et 7h30 sont pour accueillir la visite des grottes. Après avoir terminé cette tournée, nous rejoignons les danseurs africains et sommes divertis par des danseurs et chanteurs talentueux dans la manière traditionnelle africaine de célébrer et de raconter des histoires. Vous avez également la possibilité de prendre un déjeuner tardif à 17 heures où vous pourrez déguster de la vraie cuisine africaine.
Super nouvelle. Les grottes Sterkfontein sont maintenant ouvertes au Berceau de l'humanité. Ce site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO abrite les plus anciens fossiles de l'homéosapion. Pouvez-vous croire qu'il y a 4,6 millions d'années des créatures semblables à nous où marchant sur les terres autour du berceau de l'humanité. Venez visiter et voir par vous-même la grotte où Mrs Please et Little Foot ont été trouvés. Ces fouilles continuent encore à ce jour. C'est une expérience unique dans la vie. Shane was the best guide. We went to Maropeng:Cradle of Human Kind and Lesedi Cultural Village. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to our tours. We planned on going to Kruger National Park the next day and he gave us great tips on where to go and places to eat even though he wasn't taking us. I would highly recommend using him for your tours. Shane was a great guide, with an excellent balance between facts and interesting stories. We had a great day- 2 unforgettable experiences. The caves were incredible and we learnt a lot from our expert guide. The village was really interesting and the singing and dancing was fabulous. Shane took us to a great coffee spot on the way and recommended a really great restaurant for us for lunch after the tour - and dropped us off. We had a top experience.

I visited the Rhino and Lion Park where we saw plenty of animals up close including lions, rhinos, wild dogs, and a cheetah. Shane was an excellent safari guide and he shared a lot of interesting information about the animals. I also visited the Sterkfontein Caves and museum. I would definitely recommend this tour since it appeals to different age groups!

Our group had douthafri an adventure tour drove us. Not worth the $$$ .basically we paid a lot of $$$ for the driver for 3 hrs. For 8 people almost $1000CAD. No bottled water,no time for food, extra $50CAD for tickets.
Hi Chan, Thank you for your review. I’d like to clarify a few points to ensure accuracy for future guests. This was an 8-hour tour, as clearly stated, with pickup at 8:00 am and drop-off at 4:00 pm. Therefore, describing it as a 3-hour experience is unfortunately incorrect. Regarding costs, the tour details on Viator clearly indicate that entrance fees are not included. These are highlighted in advance so guests can plan accordingly. In terms of refreshments, there were opportunities to purchase water at the caves (around 9:00 am) and again at Lesedi Cultural Village (around 11:00 am). Lunch was a short stop at approximately 2:00 pm, where guests could choose to sit down or order takeaway, depending on preference. You also asked at the start of the tour about paying by credit card, which we accommodated where possible. Lastly, I would like to mention that I received very positive feedback from others on the tour, including a personal message from your husband expressing appreciation. I always aim to provide a professional and enjoyable experience, and I appreciate all feedback as it helps improve future tours. Kind regards, Shane

We only had 1 full day to spend in Johannesburg and we chose probably the best tour we could have had. Shane was great, he was able to get us to the caves on time and was explaining the history and culture throughout the drive, he’s very knowledgeable and accommodating. Both the Cradle of Humankind and Lesedi were fun experiences, I’d definitely recommend to others.
