Le temple Garni est un temple hellénistique du situé dans la province arménienne de Kotayk. C’est le seul temple gréco-romain subsistant dans l’ex-Union soviétique et l’un des monuments les plus emblématiques d’Arménie.
Une partie importante du complexe du monastère est creusée dans les falaises calcaires des gorges de la rivière Azat, ce qui en fait un exemple extraordinaire d'architecture taillée dans la roche. Certaines églises et tombes sont entièrement taillées dans la montagne, offrant une atmosphère unique et mystique.
