Khor Virap - Monastère arménien, construit en 642, traduit de l'arménien signifie «trou profond». Khor Virap est l'un des sanctuaires de l'Église apostolique arménienne, lieu de pèlerinage. Le fait le plus intéressant de ce monastère est le fait qu'il a été construit sur le site de la prison royale, où Grégoire l'Illuminateur a déjà été emprisonné - le saint patron et le premier chef officiel de l'Église apostolique arménienne par le roi arménien pendant 13 ans . Du territoire du monastère, il y a une vue inhabituelle sur la montagne biblique Ararat.
Vous ferez un arrêt photo près du réservoir d'Azat. C'est l'un des plus beaux réservoirs de la République d'Arménie. Il est situé dans la région d'Ararat et est assez proche du temple magique de Garni. Vous avez une excellente occasion de visiter cet endroit étonnant et de voir cette vue magnifique.
Le monastère de Geghard est l'une des plus grandes structures architecturales médiévales d'Arménie. Geghard est complètement creusé dans une grotte, il est aussi appelé «monastère troglodytique». Ce monastère a été fondé au 4ème siècle après JC. à la place de la source sacrée, originaire de la grotte. Le nom du complexe monastique Geghard (lance) vient de la lance Langin’n, qui a percé le corps de Jésus-Christ sur la croix. Actuellement, cette lance est conservée au musée d'Etchmiadzine. Le complexe monastique Geghard est inclus dans la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
Le temple païen de Garni a été construit dans la seconde moitié du 1er siècle par le roi Trdat III. Il s'agit du seul temple païen conservé sur le territoire de l'Arménie. Après l'adoption du christianisme, il est devenu la résidence d'été de Khosrovadukht, sœur du roi Trdat III. Il a été détruit en 1679 par un tremblement de terre. Des parties, des fragments de gracieuses colonnes et des pierres de mur ont été répartis autour du temple. On suppose que le temple était dédié à Mithra, le Dieu du Soleil.
Charents Arch est situé près d'Erevan, entre le temple païen de Garni et le complexe du monastère chrétien de Geghard dans le village de Vokhchaberd. À première vue, l'Arche semble être la plus ordinaire et la moins banale, mais en se rapprochant, en passant à la plate-forme à l'intérieur de l'arc et en regardant le panorama, tout devient clair - c'est le meilleur endroit pour admirer la grande et sacrée montagne d'Ararat , pour être en unité avec lui et profiter du magnifique paysage.

An individual tour was booked with her husband at the travel agency Jan Armenia. Driver Carlen arrived ahead of schedule, graciously placed a Mercedes in the interior. We booked a one-day private tour covering Khor Virap Monastery, Azat Reservoir, Garni Temple, the Symphony of Stones, and Geghard Monastery, and we truly enjoyed every moment. The staff and responsible manager Luiza were very responsive on WhatsApp, answering all our questions promptly. On the day of the tour, our driver Davit was professional and shared interesting information about the sites. The brand-new vehicle with A/C and WiFi was a real lifesaver during the hot summer.
