Ce site était un sanctuaire religieux panhellénique majeur de la Grèce antique, où les Jeux Olympiques antiques avaient lieu tous les quatre ans tout au long de l'Antiquité classique, du 8ème siècle avant JC au 4ème siècle après JC.
Le musée archéologique d'Olympie est l'un des principaux musées de Grèce, situé à Olympie. Le musée abrite des découvertes des environs, notamment le site des Jeux Olympiques antiques. La collection comprend des objets produits et utilisés dans la région depuis la préhistoire jusqu'à l'époque de la domination romaine. Les principales pièces du musée sont Hermès et l'Enfant Dionysos (attribués à Praxitèle), quelques objets du Temple de Zeus et de la Nike de Paionios.
Olympia Land Estate est une cave familiale qui a commencé à produire de petites quantités de vins de qualité au début des années 2000, et depuis 2008, elle crée la cave moderne du domaine. Suivant la tradition familiale dans un lieu béni et sacré, Olympie, berceau de la culture et de l'idéal olympique.

Great tour, our driver was so friendly and wouldn't do enough for us. We spent some time at the Olympia site which was really enjoyable. The winery we visited was family run and it was great to see the traditional methods of production still being used. The wine tasting was amazing and they served some really tasty platters also. We left with several bottles !! Would throughly recommend this tour.

Great tour to Olympia. Really helpful and friendly driver nothing was too much trouble for him, really looked after us. The trip to the winery was amazing, a family run winery with some amazing wines and delicious platters served with the wine. A fantastic experience would throughly recommend

Dora was a great tour guide, she met us as soon as we got off of our cruise with our name on the board so it was super easy to find her. We had a private tour so it was just my husband & I which was great! I do wish she had come into the Olympia museum with us to describe what we were looking at. Then we went to the winery which was super great & for a little tour around there. It would have been nice to have some time in the little town of Olympia, but on our way back she did let us off at the main strip with shops & restaurants which was an easy walk back to the cruise port. We overall had a great time & experience & would highly recommend to anyone traveling here!
