Votre guide agréé vous accueillera dans votre logement à Taormina à 10h00 avec un 8 places A/C Mercedes Minivan. Visite de 2 petits villages siciliens authentiques où le film Le Parrain a été joué: Savoca et Forza D'Agro'. Faites une visite guidée à pied et écoutez la véritable histoire de la mafia, sa structure et son chef et comment elle s'est développée en Sicile après la Seconde Guerre mondiale jusqu'à nos jours. Comparez-le avec l'histoire du film Le Parrain. Après la visite, profitez d'un déjeuner léger typiquement sicilien dans une terrasse panoramique. Retour prévu dans votre logement vers 15.00

Commencez par visiter ce village sicilien typique où certaines scènes du parrain ont été jouées
Nos anglophones licenciés vous rencontreront à 10h00 dans le hall de votre hébergement à Taormina, Giardini Naxos ou Letojanni. Après 20 minutes de conduite avec une minibus climatisée de 8 places, vous arriverez à Forza D’Agrò, un véritable et authentique petit village sicilien. Faites une visite à pied de la vieille ville et visitez les lieux où le film Le Parrain a été joué. Après une visite à pied du village avec explication de la culture authentique sicilienne et de la façon de partir, vous vous dirigerez vers Savoca, le deuxième petit village sicilien où le film a été tourné. Le célèbre Bar Vitelli où Michael Corleone a rencontré le père de sa future épouse Apollonia. Puis marchez 5 minutes pour atteindre l'église Sainte-Lucie où ils se sont mariés. En vous promenant, votre guide vous présentera la véritable histoire de la mafia sicilienne, comment elle se développe et se répand très rapidement dans toute l’Italie. Vous entendrez parler de la véritable structure (coupole), de son chef et des guerres de clans de la mafia pour contrôler le territoire. Vous découvrirez comment 2 officiers siciliens (Falcone et Borsellino), ainsi que des «hommes repentés de la mafia», étaient sur le point de découvrir la vérité sur la mafia et sa connivence avec les politiciens italiens. Vous saurez comment cela s'est vraiment passé avec eux. Après la visite à pied, vous vous arrêterez dans un lieu de restauration élégant et élégant. Vous y dégusterez une assiette de pâtes sicilienne typique faite maison et un verre de vin rouge tout en profitant d'une authentique vue panoramique sur la ville. Après un déjeuner léger dans 30 minutes de route, votre logement vous sera déposé. Retour attendu vers 15h00.

Our tour guide, Antonio, was incredible. Great day with tons of information about Sicilian history not just the Godfather
Being driven around alone was worth it as the views are spectacular. We didn’t really get a background on the mafia but the tour itself was great. Our guide knew his stuff and was a clear fan of the movies. I would recommend to anyone, even those not in love with the Godfather.
Magnificent excursion! I am a movie buff, I know the films by heart! Super nice tour with Giovanni! He is funny and tells anecdotes about both the film and the region! A must-do!
Great tour with excellent guide (Denise) , who knew all answers for raised questions, and having a great homemade pasta lunch! Definitely recommend!
Although we were staying in Giardini Naxos, the tour company agreed to collect us from our hotel which was really helpful as other guests were travelling from Taormina. From start to finish, Carlos our guide was exceptional - friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. He always ensured we were comfortable walking in the heat and made life easier by cooling the mini van before we embarked on the next part of the tour. As fans of the Godfather Trilogy - we could not have asked for more. He intertwined personal anecdotes and interesting facts before arriving at the destinations which really brought the locations to life. This was all rounded off with a superb lunch with our small group which was a great way to end the experience. For those of you who are visiting Sicily for the first time it is also a great way to get insights on the culture and history of the area. Worth every penny!
This was a great experience. Denise was very knowledgeable about the towns we visited. The scenery was beautiful and lunch was delicious.
The trip overall was fantastic with an affable, knowledgeable guide who had excellent English. Bar Vitelli was covered in foliage that prevented any photos of the outside unless you entered and bought something or on the day we went unless you had a booking. One of the churches was undergoing renovations but it was great to see it and Savoca. The lunch was surprisingly good and the various stops on our journey were very much worthwhile. Even if you aren't a Godfather fan the trip may suit you as you see so much of the surrounding countryside and its villages. Our group of four gave an average mark of 9/10. Excellent
The Godfather vs. Mafia excursion was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guide, Valerio was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job of juxtaposing the theme of the movie with the real life violent history of the mafia family from Sicily. The tour was enjoyable and the pasta lunch was delicious!! I most definitely recommend this tour when visiting Messina!
It was such a fun and interesting tour. We were a group of 6 adults and we all really enjoyed the day! From the beautiful scenery, the small towns that we visited, the wonderful lunch, the host of the cafe Giovanni and our guide Giuseppe, it was great tour! Giuseppe was so friendly and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this tour! Thank you Giuseppe for a wonderful day!
Daniele was very nice and gave a decent tour. Please note that you will go on some very scary rides up two separate mountains. The vistas were amazing and the lunch was tasty. I felt like it was a little expensive for what you get, but all in all it was a good excursion.
