Retrouvez votre guide au point de rendez-vous et montez à bord du train express pour Nara pour commencer l'aventure de la journée. Passez devant la statue de Gyoki
De là, vous vous dirigerez vers le parc de Nara où vous verrez le sympathique cerf Sika en liberté, considéré comme des messagers sacrés des dieux dans la religion shinto. Admirez les vastes espaces et la verdure luxuriante et prenez quelques photos avec le cerf (considéré comme le symbole de Nara) avant de vous diriger vers Todaiji.
Ce site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO se dresse majestueusement dans le parc et abrite l'impressionnant Grand Bouddha (Daibutsu), l'une des plus grandes statues de Bouddha en bronze du Japon. La prochaine étape est un déjeuner traditionnel au restaurant Kotoya où vous pourrez déguster des spécialités locales de Nara avant de vous diriger vers le sanctuaire Kasuga Taisha.
Admirez le sanctuaire pittoresque orné de milliers de lanternes suspendues avant de vous promener à Naramachi et apercevez les ruelles étroites bordées de maisons de marchands traditionnelles bien préservées qui résument l'essence de la période Edo.
Visitez Naramachi et visitez différents types de boutiques spécialisées et de musées rétro.
Retour à Kyoto
Explorez les terrains du temple Kofukuji tout en découvrant l'histoire et l'établissement de la capitale impériale Heijo-kyo.

Our guide had an extensive knowledge of the temple, Nara and also the old town around it. You could communicate well in English and she could also give us some insider tips on what else we can look at on our further trip. Can highly recommend the lady!

The tour to Nara was an amazing experience. We were able to enjoy each place calmly and learn a lot about the local history and culture. Alex was an amazing guide. He has a lot of knowledge and made our visit a 10/10. He came to our hotel to pick us up and gave us all the help and information we could wish. After the visit, he also gave us a lot of valuable information with regards to shops, visits and nice areas of the city
Really enjoyed our tour with Katsuhiko Ishida. He was very knowledgeable of the area and had a command of the English language like a native speaker. He made the experience so interesting and fun and Nara is a real enjoyable place with the friendly deer.

Nara is the must-see city in Japan. Just a short train ride from Kyoto or Osaka. The deer are so charming and friendly. Feeding them is a blast. Temple and Shrine are off the charts beautiful. Don’t forget to eat Mochi. Our guide Yochee is a Nara native and brings a lot of intimate flavor to the experience.
