Au cours de cette excursion, votre guide partagera des informations fascinantes sur la forêt de nuages et vous aidera à repérer des espèces emblématiques telles que le toucanet émeraude, le majestueux quetzal resplendissant et, avec un peu de chance, des singes-araignées, tout en vous faisant profiter de vues à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Monteverde. La réserve biologique de la forêt de nuages de Monteverde protège plus de 5 000 hectares de forêt tropicale, comprenant des zones de forêt primaire et secondaire. Ce sanctuaire naturel abrite de nombreuses espèces uniques que vous pourrez découvrir lors d'une visite guidée avec un guide naturaliste expert.

We have just finished the tour to the cloud forest with Rafael... there are no words to express gratitude for this experienced and passionate guide. Rafael is not only very nice, but he does everything to allow people to spot the animals and shares a lot of interesting information about the ita of the forest. We recommend everyone to contact him!!

Rafael Mendez is a really motivated tour guide. He really finds animals like it’s his hobby. He also takes his time for everyone.
I honestly think Fiddeus (Raphael) was the best guide in the park. He found many birds that other guides then stopped to show their guests. We really wanted to see a Quetzal, but while we heard them we didn't see any. He tool us back up a few paths and we finally saw one from a distant, filtered view. When it flew away, he said - "I think I know where it is going" and scurried back up another path. There we got an amazing, unfiltered view. See the attached photo! He's also a super nice guy! Highly recommended.
We booked a morning tour (8:00) with our guide Rafa, and it was an amazing experience. Rafa was incredibly kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions about nature with great enthusiasm. His passion really made the tour special. We saw quetzals, a tarantula, many beautiful birds, and also very cool plants, which he explained a lot about. I would highly recommend going with Rafael, it’s absolutely worth it!
Rafa gave us an amazing tour of the cloud forest. We saw animals like coatis and spider monkeys 🐒, spiders 🕷️and the majestic quetzal. He is very knowledgeable about animals and plants of the beautiful place.
We just took this personalized tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, with our guide Rafael, who was a fantastic guide. Highly knowledgeable, and had a cheeful and funny sense of humor. He made for a wonderful experience for our group of people in their 20's and one 50 year old. Note: This fee is just for the guide (per person).
