Description
L'Original Canopy Tour propose un parcours dans les cimes, de la descente en rappel, l'escalade d'un arbre creux, une balançoire de Tarzan, ainsi que l'occasion unique de s'élancer à travers la cime des arbres, bien au-dessus du sol de la forêt, pour vivre l'aventure d'une vie. Ici, vous découvrirez la vie de la jungle sous un angle jusqu'alors réservé à un cercle restreint de chercheurs et de photographes. Tout a été conçu pour que vous vous amusiez, tout en préservant la forêt.

Itinéraire
Retrouvez votre guide à votre hôtel avant l'heure de départ choisie (le matin ou l'après-midi) et rendez-vous dans une réserve privée et un parc d'aventure, situés à quelques minutes seulement du centre-ville de Monteverde. Votre visite commence dans la partie primaire de la forêt nuageuse, constituée de arbres anciens, puis se poursuit dans la forêt secondaire, plus récente, vous offrant ainsi un aperçu complet des cycles de vie de la forêt. Commencez votre excursion par un parcours en tyrolienne au-dessus de la canopée, qui vous offrira une vue à couper le souffle sur la forêt nuageuse en contrebas. Ensuite, descendez en rappel sur environ 45 mètres jusqu'au sol de la forêt. Un système d'échelles aménagé dans le tronc creux d'un vieil arbre vous permet de remonter dans la cime des arbres, tandis qu'une balançoire « Tarzan » en chute libre (en option) vous ramène en bas. Des guides vous accompagnent tout au long de l'aventure pour veiller à votre sécurité et à votre plaisir, mais aussi pour répondre à vos questions sur l'écosystème local. À la fin de votre aventure, vous serez raccompagné à votre hôtel ou à tout autre lieu de dépose que vous aurez indiqué à Monteverde.

It was such a nice experience. Daniel and Fray were our guides and they were THE BEST. I am a little on the heavier side, 200+ lbs and they took really good care of me and were patient. Especially for those who have never done something like this, it builds up to longer ziplines, giving you a chance to get seasoned. One of the best experiences while in Costa Rica. The views...incredible. I definitely recommend.
We had a great canopy tour, which exceeded our expectations. Our guides where Brian and Joseph who were both great and interacted with our kids (11/13yrs) very well. We weren't sure how many zip lines we were doing and it was definitely more than expected, 10 in total and some amazing long ones across a valley at the end. The tarzan swing and rapel were also great fun and we felt safe every step of the way. My boys said it was their best activity so far and we have been in Costa Rica two weeks now.
Such a fun experience. Josef and Fray were super fun guides. But the whole company was great. We saw a snake in the road on the way out and they stopped and let us watch it for a while. Definitely worth doing!
We had an amazing time! We had a group of 7 ranging from 19 - 53 years old and we all had the best experience. Our guides Joseph and Gerard were awesome, they were very funny and made the trip a blast.

A wonderful experience with a Tarzan swing, zip line, rappelling, and climbing inside a ficus tree. The more timid can avoid the most impressive parts of the course. Safety is top-notch. Thanks to our three very professional and very friendly guides!
My best friend and I booked for the 11am tour and upon arrival were instantly greeted and given a ride up the reception area. From there we got to not only zip line but tarzan swing, climb a hollow tree and rappel down a line. All with the help of our two awesome tour guides Joseph (or feya) and his coworker. We were first concerned about how cheap it was but that’s actually the best part because you get the safety and great experience you would anywhere else for the best price!
The activity is very beautiful and exciting, the instructors Anderson, Josep and Bryan, were kind, they explained the challenges to us, and we always felt safe, they are very professional, the experience was great, 6 ziplines, rappelling, climbing, Tarzan.. Pura vida

Our whole family LOVED our experience with The Original Canopy Tour. Our guides, David, Gerald and Joseph were kind, funny, professional and we felt very safe the whole time. We loved the Tarzan swing, climbing up the strangler fig with ladder, rappelling and zipping through the jungle! Compared to other companies, Treetopia and Extremo, we felt The Original Canopy Tour provided an experience where you felt closer to nature!
