Nudokubi-Abu est une grotte peu connue des touristes. Depuis l'Antiquité, il est considéré comme un lieu sacré où résident des dieux, ce qui en fait un lieu de pouvoir spirituel. C'est également un site historique qui a été utilisé par les militaires Japonais pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Toguchi no Hama est une plage appréciée par les résidents locaux. Il est relativement peu fréquenté par les touristes, ce qui permet aux visiteurs de passer un moment de détente ici.
Toriike Pond est l'un des endroits pittoresques les plus célèbres de l'île de Miyakojima. Il se compose de deux étangs interconnectés qui sont reliés à la mer par un système de grottes souterraines. L'eau d'un bleu profond crée un paysage mystérieux et magnifique, attirant des visiteurs du monde entier. Toriike Pond est également populaire parmi les plongeurs, car les grottes sous-marines se connectent au large, offrant une expérience de plongée unique. Depuis le sommet, les visiteurs peuvent profiter d'une vue panoramique spectaculaire sur le pont d'Irabu, la mer vert émeraude et les îles environnantes. Imgya Marine Garden offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis son observatoire. Grâce à Instagram, il est devenu un endroit très populaire parmi les jeunes visiteurs.
Le phare de Higashi est le cap le plus oriental de Miyakojima. Par temps clair, vous pourrez profiter du magnifique océan « Miyako Blue » qui s’étend devant vous.

Since it was my first time visiting Miyakojima, I was a bit nervous about driving a rental car, so I decided to join this tour. The guide took us to hidden beaches and breathtaking cliffside viewpoints that seemed too secluded to even appear on Google Maps. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious meal at a local seafood restaurant. The six-hour duration of the tour was just right—not too long and not too short. I would definitely love to join this tour again if I have the chance to visit in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Ken in Miyako. He was very personable, thoughtful, and knowledgeable as he toured six of us around the gorgeous beaches of this island. His itinerary was perfectly timed and we experienced sites we never would have found on our own, including a stop at a local grocery store and restaurant for lunch, complete with a fish-carving demonstration. Ken gave our three couples a fabulous tour of Miyako and related islands in his air conditioned minivan. The tour lasted about 5 hours and the itinerary was flexible. We saw many beautiful beaches and Ken provided insight into local life and culture. We highly recommend his tour!

Ken was an extraordinary tour guide. He could not possibly have been more welcoming and helpful. Completely devoted to making sure that we had a good time. He took us to all of the sites, including some that the large tour buses don’t go to. The beaches on this island are as beautiful as any you’ll ever see and Ken was the perfect host.

If you are to Miyako Island don't waste time renting a car. Call Ken from English Miyako tours. He knows every corner of the island, has an amazing personality, is super communicative and even moreover spent the whole tour taking photos of us with his professional camera and then sent us a link with the photos without charging anything for them. We spent 2 amazing days with him and we knew not only the best beaches of the islands but places that only the locals know and secret beaches. To add he still speaks English perfectly and even a little Spanish. His car is super comfortable and he also has all snorkeling equipment. We recommend them with closed eyes.

Incredible in every way! Ken made our experience on Miyako Island unforgettable. He was professional, punctual, with a lot of experience and great knowledge about the island. Originally intended to participate in the general bus team, but after seeing a lot of trips, I felt that each attraction stay time is short, lack of a sense of relaxation to travel to the island, and finally chose a private trip, the actual experience felt worth it. Communicating through email and LINE before departure, the attractions you want to visit will be discussed first, and the schedule can be flexibly adjusted, which is reassuring. The day's private guide, Ken, is a Japanese traveler who is fluent in English. My own level of English comparative foundation, he is compatible with my level, with simple easy to understand English communication, encountering the more difficult part will use translation software to Chinese to see me, the whole process is very careful, no pressure, and help to take photos on the way. Recommended some good restaurants before the end, help to make a reservation by phone in Japanese, really great. Overall, it is a comfortable, self-sufficient and pleasant experience, recommended for those who want more flexible schedule. The beauty of the island is stunning, it is hard to imagine that in such a place close to Taiwan, you can see such a clear and fantastic view that people want to visit again every year.
