Tour very complete and less tired than it might seem for the number of hours. Highly recommended!

Excellent tour, very organized, punctual, with enough time for activities. The guide Oscar and driver Erik, very well! The lagoon.... Just unmissable...

Bacalar is stunning, but the tour could be better

Bacalar is really beautiful, the lagoon is just stunning. The transport and meals were organized well, so no problems there. What I missed was that it didn’t really feel like a guided tour. Most of the time we were just taken from one place to another, with very little explanation. On the boat it was basically all in Spanish, so without speaking the language it was hard to follow. Also, drinks are not included at restaurants (that was written clearly), but there was no water offered in the van either. At the cenote the life jacket is mandatory and you have to pay extra for it. The guide was not very engaging and a bit distant, which made the whole day less interesting than I expected. The lagoon itself is amazing and really worth seeing, but the tour could be improved a lot

Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed the beauty of Bacalar and found the logistics well organized. That said, we’d like to clarify a few points. Our guides always provide explanations in both Spanish and English, including during the boat portion of the tour. We’re surprised you felt otherwise, as this is not typical feedback. Drinking water is also available in the van and offered throughout the day if you didn’t receive any, we wish you'd mentioned it during the tour so we could have resolved it immediately. Regarding the cenote, the life jacket requirement and rental fee are set by local authorities, not our company, and this is clearly stated in our tour information. We appreciate your feedback, but it's important to ensure accurate information is shared for the benefit of future travelers and to fairly represent our team’s efforts.

Boring overpriced trip

Inferior quality time wasting tour. Huge crowded bus so hardly any room to move left or right. Mostly local Mexican clients a handful of Brazilians, hence good enough reason for the guide not to explain much in English. Narrow seats, hardly any leg room for large sized passengers. Front seat taken up by guide, the other front seat was taken up by the guide’s younger mate. No consideration for large sized passengers. Both had the liberty to get maximum comfort occupying the front seats, the main guide was too busy watching the Squid Game on his ipad all throughout the journey, back and forth. Temperature in the bus was unpleasant and rather chilly. Aircon was on full blast. The toilet on the bus did not have water to wash hands or toilet paper. First stop was boring. Uninteresting Cenote. Waters murky and dirty. Crowded and not scenic, not up to our expectations. Disappointing. Breakfast unhealthy, greasy and unappetizing although it went well with the majority of the local Mexican passengers sharing the bus with us. It transpires that all Mexican passengers were charged 50% less than us for the trip which was upsetting. The second Cenote was not much better. We were stuck in a touristy restaurant overlooking a murky and a public uninteresting beach full of concrete structures and public swings which spoiled the natural scenery. We found out from the locals that the first and second cenotes were public in nature and are not beauty spots as described in the advertisement. The public toilets in both restaurants were dirty with no toilet paper. The third lagoon was the nicest. It has nice colors, however, the boat trip only lasted for 45 minutes. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. We were left to swim in a shallow end for 40 minutes only. We got bored after 20 minutes. We were then dropped to a restaurant for a late lunch at 3:30 pm. The meal was inedible and of an inferior quality. It consisted of an undercooked stale breaded fish filet with cheap chilly sauce, stale rice and sweetened handful of salad. Unfortunately suffered diarrhea following this meal. The bus journey back to Tulum was unpleasant, cold, uncomfortable and boring. Total waste of time and money. I would not recommend it.

Waste of time , there are no colours.

Overpriced you can get 1/2 the price from local tour operators, big bus with toilet facilities but very narrow leg room(;I am 172cms ,;5 7 ). Long Rd trip about 3 hours , 2 stops at 1 star restaurants in total 2.5 hours , one stop at a cheap beach club, waste of time. Boat trip at the main Lagoon so called 7 colors we only saw 2 colours , the boat was good but the swim was in a shallow water. On the way back the bus temperature was 19 degree blowing fan . We were so cold with our light summer wet cloths when we asked the guide to switch of the AC he refused when my wife got angry he did a quick survey of 4 travelers who said it was OK. So we cuddled up for 3 hours and was glad to arrive the hotel and have a hot shower. The food quality in the 2 restaurants were poor and we got diarrhea for 2 days. The guides did their job, but no more, don't expect any informations at any point during the long trip . Both were very busy watching movies on i pad. Sorry but this was a wasted day of my precious time.

Tour guides and lagoon views

Bacalar and it's views were great! It was a long trip but worth all the way. We weren't expecting the cenote The food for breakfast and lunch was mexican but they offered other kinds of food as well, overall it was a good meal for me and my friends (Even the picky eaters lol) The guides made the tour very easy going

Beautiful area, low quality stops.

Very basic tour. They do not pick you up from your hotel as advertised. Locations we were taken (restaurant and beach club) were very basic. Food was terrible. The guide was great. The views beautiful.
