Our tour guide was Inka, she was very well informed all questions we had were answered with even more detail and history than we could have thought it had. Very very cool to experience Innsbruck through this tour. We went in a hotter than usual timing but Inka kept that in mind seating us on the cooler side of each stop. It was truly a nice experience!
The tour was very disappointing and did not deliver the value promised for the price charged. Much of the experience felt misleading. For example, one of the advertised highlights was the Golden Roof, a famous landmark in Innsbruck. However, when we reached the final stop, there was no meaningful connection to the Golden Roof, and it was not actually part of the experience in any significant way. The tour also seemed poorly organized. There did not appear to be any reservations or advance arrangements at the venues we visited. At the wine and cheese stop, we were barely allowed to stay because we had food purchased elsewhere, which created an uncomfortable situation and made it seem as though the visit had not been properly coordinated. The guide, Fredericka, was pleasant and friendly, and she did her best. I am not sure whether she owns or manages the company, so my concerns are not directed at her personally. Overall, the experience was extremely expensive for what was offered. Based on the significant gap between what was advertised and what was delivered, I would appreciate a full refund.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations, although we're pleased to hear that you found Frederika to be pleasant and friendly. We would like to clarify a few points. The Golden Roof is indeed one of the landmarks featured on our route, and the tour is designed to incorporate it as part of the overall experience rather than as a dedicated attraction or extended stop. We regret if this differed from your expectations. Regarding the organization of the tour, we work closely with all of our partner venues, and the stops are planned in advance. The situation at the wine and cheese venue was an isolated misunderstanding and does not reflect our usual arrangements. We apologize for any discomfort this may have caused. We also wish to clarify that the price of the experience covers considerably more than the food and drinks provided. It includes the services of a knowledgeable local guide, the planning required to operate the tour, our partnerships with local businesses, and all of the tastings included throughout the experience. While we respect that you did not feel the tour represented good value, we do not agree that the experience was misleading or substantially different from what is advertised. We strive to accurately describe our tours so that guests know what to expect. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure every guest has an enjoyable experience.
While we enjoyed the tour, and our guide (Inka) was an excellent one, we felt like the tour was overpriced. The actual cost of the food vs the cost of the tour did not equate, even when considering the price for the guide. We have been on tours in other cities that provided a much better value.
This was a wonderful tour full of information and delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Inka. She was outstanding!
Inka was incredible, our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. She was so very accommodating with our unforeseen delays and chaos throughout the afternoon. The Innsbruck experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you Inka!
Nothing Special. No history or local lore, no food info as to how it relates to the area. Would not recommend.
Dear Sheila, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that the tour did not meet your expectations. However, we are surprised by your comments, as the experience is specifically designed to combine local food tastings with information about Innsbruck's culinary traditions, history, and culture. Our guides regularly share stories about the city, its landmarks, and the origins of the dishes served throughout the tour. Food tours can be experienced differently by each guest, and personal expectations may vary. Nevertheless, many travelers appreciate the balance between gastronomy, local insights, and the opportunity to discover authentic venues that they might not find on their own. We regret that this was not your impression and thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
Not only a great insight into the cuisine of the region but also a lot of history pertaining to Innsbruck and its culture .
We had a wonderful food tour with Inka in the old town of Innsbruck. She took us to multiple stops where we tasted different types of Austrian food and beer while also having engaging conversations about local history and culture. Inka was very knowledgeable and personable and we enjoyed our time with her very much.
10/10 would recommend! Inka was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I had a blast walking around with her trying out different food and drinks.
Federika absolutely made our Tyrolean cuisine walking food tour unforgettable. From the very start, her passion for the region, its culture, and—of course—its food was infectious. She didn’t just guide us from place to place; she told stories, shared traditions, and brought each dish to life in a way that made every bite more meaningful. Her knowledge was incredible, but what really stood out was how warm, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic she was with our group. She struck that perfect balance between being informative and fun—never overwhelming us, but always leaving us wanting to learn more (and eat more!). Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, showcasing authentic flavors and local specialties we never would have discovered on our own. Thanks to Federika, we didn’t just taste Tyrolean cuisine—we experienced it. If you’re even thinking about booking this tour, do it—and hope you get Federika. She’s an absolute gem and the reason this experience will stay with us for a long time.
