Nous visiterons Pestera, un lieu hors du temps. Un village entouré des montagnes les plus magnifiques que vous ne verrez jamais. Un endroit où les habitants vivent encore il y a des dizaines d'années. Un lieu à peine touché par la technologie. La matinée nous emmènera au château de Bran où la légende du comte Dracula est maintenue toute l'année. Construit au 13ème siècle, le château de Bran est une forteresse fascinante au sommet d'une colline et l'un des monuments les plus célèbres de Roumanie. Les touristes se rassemblent de tous les coins du monde pour vivre une visite guidée de ce majestueux château, réputé pour avoir appartenu à Vlad l'Empaleur, la prétendue inspiration du comte Dracula. Ces deux noms sont imprégnés de mystère et de mythe, et vous serez ravi d'explorer l'origine des deux.
Ensuite, lors de cette fantastique excursion d'une journée, vous serez traité avec une promenade le long du village de Pestera, qui est l'un des plus beaux villages de montagne authentiques de Roumanie.La simplicité de cet endroit et la vue imprenable vous couperont le souffle. Ce sera un sentier facile de 3 à 4 km, 100-200 m d'altitude, au total 1 à 2 heures de marche sur de larges patins sans exposition ni falaises dangereuses (sur demande, nous pouvons rendre la randonnée plus courte ou plus longue, ou simplement prendre place pour le déjeuner sur un restaurant local) Ce voyage convient aux familles ou à tout autre groupe de personnes qui peuvent marcher lentement sur différents terrains pendant 2 heures. Équipement obligatoire: Des chaussures de randonnée légères, des vêtements adaptés aux conditions météorologiques extérieures et un imperméable.

Really enjoyed our day trip with Ramona to Pestera and Bran Castle . We really like walking so was refreshing to be out of the city and taking in some beautiful country views. Ramona had first hand knowledge of the area so was a good walk. Bran Castle is one of those places you go to when in Transylvania. We already had a bit of knowledge about the castle and it was also a relief to know Ramona was not going to add to the myth but was informative about its origins.

This tour is a must do, Ramona was so knowledgeable and so engaging, the tour of Bran Castle was really interesting, and the hike through the countryside was amazing, so peaceful and the views were spectacular, I can't recommend this enough!

Traveling from Australia we wanted a personal real Romanian tour to see the village life and regional Romania We got this from this tour!!! Unbelievable 👍👍 Ramona our tour guide was fantastic and made the tour extremely personal and catered for our needs and personal experiences we wanted. Ramona gave us great detail to the history of Romania and Bran Castle and also introduced us to genuine Romanian food Overall if you travel to Brasov you must get a tour with Ramona as you want forget it 10/10 Cheers Trav

The Hike&City was the highlight of our trip so we totally recommend it. We did what was planned in reverse because of the weather forecast: a hike in mountainous villages (with some snow!), a lunch in a restaurant where we tried lots of Romanian foods, and then the visit of the castle. For context, we stayed in Romania for a week and travel to multiple places using public transport. Without a car and without the knowledge of where to go (especially as we had never travelled to Romania and were a bit worried about bears), we would never have been able to do this hike without Ramona and we loved it so much. Romania isn't just big cities and a look into the history of the country shows that a big part of what makes the country was for a long time lots of small farms on remote villages, therefore seeing the nature is definetely a big plus, that's why we picked this tour and not another tour with only the castle. I read the Dracula book while on our holidays and the landscapes that we saw (we had a nice view on a mountain pass and saw some specific hay stacks and small houses) matches the descriptions from the book so it's very topical to pair this hike to the Dracula castle visit. Lastly our guide Ramona was very nice, before the trip I was concerned that it might be awkward to spend the whole day with a stranger but she was very friendly and we chatted a lot, about Romania, the countryside and her personal experience there but also normal chatting. We had a really great day. It was my first time making a booking on TripAdvisor and I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money but the nice landscapes, the food, and the chat with a friendly local person were really worth it.

We had 2 trips with Ramona and this was one of them. We are a family of four. We were amused by her stories. She is an excellent guide and a good company. She really knows how to match the right type of trip to the right type of group. Even the teenagers liked hearing her stories about the places. We had the pleasure of having lunch in special and intimate places only she knows about. Thank you Ramona for the experience. We have good memories and the photos to prove it. Highly recommended.
