Après un arrêt dans le vieux village de Viscri pour voir son église fortifiée, faites une visite à pied de la ville de Sighişoara, qui est classée au patrimoine mondial et est l’une des villes médiévales les mieux préservées d’Europe. Profitez de votre temps libre pour déjeuner ou pour explorer cette magnifique ville à votre guise, puis continuez jusqu‘à la forteresse de Rupea, un château datant du XIVe siècle qui est l’un des plus impressionnants de la Roumanie.

La visite de l'église fortifiée de Viscri - l'une des églises fortifiées les mieux conservées de Transylvanie - est également incluse dans la visite. Le prince Charles, propriétaire d'une maison à Viscri, a déclaré: "La Transylvanie est dans mon sang".
Découvrez la seule ville de Roumanie qui ressemble exactement à celle du XVIème siècle - Sighisoara. Faites un voyage dans le temps dans cette visite d'une journée ou obtenez simplement toutes les informations privilégiées dans une visite à pied si vous voyagez seul. Tandis qu'à Sighisoara, vous avez plusieurs options pour manger le déjeuner ou des collations. Nous vous donnons suffisamment de temps pendant la visite pour dîner dans un restaurant ou prendre des collations à différents stands et profiter d'une promenade par vous-même et chercher des souvenirs. L'une de leurs collations préférées est le Langos, une pâte frite garnie de fromage et de crème aigre aussi salée ou de sucre/confiture en poudre que de collation sucrée. Nous recommandons toujours le restaurant Alte Post où de délicieux plats traditionnels sont servis. Pour les souvenirs les clients vont généralement pour les cadeaux traditionnels, faits à la main, faciles à transporter. Beaucoup d'entre eux sont des cuillères en bois, de petits bijoux ou même des T-shirts. Veuillez noter que les endroits que nous visitons sont inégaux pavés de pierres et pour votre sécurité, nous vous recommandons de porter des chaussures robustes en toute saison.
Visitez une forteresse remarquable - Rupea - avec trois anneaux, datant du 14ème siècle, construite sur un rocher de basalte. A l'intérieur de la forteresse, il y a un puits de 60 m de profondeur. L'eau est toujours potable.

An absolutely wonderful day visiting Transylvania! Our guide, Charlie, was OUTSTANDING!! He is a terrific driver, an incredible tour guide, and just a really fantastic human!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better day in the Transylvania countryside. Charlie made us all feel really welcome and we walked away with a much better understanding of the history. It was a lot of up and down hill cobblestones and I was pretty proud to keep up and feel the good burn in my legs. We had a delicious lunch at 32 Viscri. My husband and I talked a lot about how terrific the whole day was. I hope Charlie had a good time too! Thank you for a really memorable experience. We would highly recommend this tour!!

I highly recommend booking with Active Travel while visiting Romania and Brasov in particular. There seemed to be many options for day trips and as a solo traveler I was careful about my choice. This is a locally owned and operated company and the owner quickly answered all my questions. The tour itself was fascinating and Charlie was an excellent and informative guide, and a very safe driver! It is a full day with 3 very different stops ( with time for a delicious lunch in Viscri) and well worth it.

A great day trip from Brasov. Pucked up on time and then 2 hours in car through beautiful scenery with rest breaks along the way. Mihai was an excellent guides. Full of knowledge and enthusiasm for the local history and the sites we visited. Viscri is well worth visiting and we had plenty of time to explore.

We had an amazing trip with Charlie, our tour guide. His explanations (all done with patience and good humour) of the sites we visited really brought the history to life. He did not rush us at all and always checked that we had had enough time to take everything in. Sighisoara is very picturesque and well worth a visit. The fortified church in Viscri with its little museum is really interesting. Finally, the fortress at Rupea is quite a climb up (this is optional) but worth it for the views alone. Would definitely recommend this one day tour to anyone visiting Brasov. Just as an aside, I had recently been involved in quite a bad driving accident at home in Scotland. Charlie's driving was very steady and good. This made the journey feel very safe for me, so thank you Charlie.

We had a really good time in all the places. My favorites were the clock tower in Sighisoara and the Rupear Fortress. I also really enjoyed the landscape you could see from the car.

Sighisoara, Viscri and Rupea is the best tour you can do in the Transsilvania. I saw a lot for a day, all tree places were super interesting. My quide Tudor was excellent and now I understand Romania more. We had nice lunch at Viscri and whole tour was very relaxed and not in hurry.
