Bienvenue dans notre ferme urbaine! Apikol est une distillerie d'agriculture urbaine située au centre-ville de Québec. Les visites guidées sont animées par l'un des copropriétaires apiculteur distillateur. Vous serez fasciné par le monde des abeilles lors de l'observation des abeilles au travail dans notre ruche (4 saisons). Par la suite, vous découvrirez comment nous fabriquons nos alcools artisanaux à partir de notre miel. Le tout se termine par la dégustation de notre alcool.

La visite de 60 minutes comprend : • Visite accompagnée d'un guide (un des propriétaires) couvrant l'interprétation de l'abeille, l'extraction du miel et sa transformation, la fermentation, la distillation, le vieillissement, la formulation et la mise en bouteille. (45 minutes) • Dégustation de 3 produits, animée par un de nos experts, dont hydromel pétillant et 2 spiritueux parmi nos 4, à choisir selon vos préférences. (Possibilité d'en ajouter d'autres pour un petit supplément). (Durée : 15 minutes)

A really interesting experience led by the owner who was really passionate about what the business was trying to achieve. We learnt a lot about bees! And indeed the alcohol was excellent. A very interesting tour - an absolute recommend!
Apikol is an excellent visit! Zachary gave us an impressive presentation about how are raised in the city. He educated us about how the honey is harvested and used to create excellent beverages. The distillery is spotless! Our tasting was another excellent experience and it was hard to choose just one thing to bring home so we chose more including jars of honey. We recommend this!

I absolutely loved this tour and tasting; learned so much about bees and beekeeping as well as all the processes for making alcohol with honey!! Our guide was a perfect teacher, and the tasting inspired me to purchase a bottle of their sparkling mead to bring home. Highly recommend!!
Very informative! The tastings at the end were great. They even made a mocktail for my daughter which she loved. All and all a great experience! Highly recommend.

This was an informative and fun tour, Fred was knowledgable and explained everything very clearly in excellent English. We really enjoyed all his analogies when explaining about the bee life cycle, bee hives and honey production. The distillery process was explained very well whilst looking at the processing equipment. At the end we tasted 3 of their products and had the chance to buy their alcoholic drinks as well as jars of their locally produced honey. Many thanks Fred for an excellent way to spend a rainy afternoon in Quebec City😊
