Itinéraire
La journée commence très tôt, avec des ramassages entre 3h00 et 3h30 directement de votre auberge ou hôtel à Cusco à Cusipata. Le trajet initial dure environ 1 heure et 30 minutes.
Le premier arrêt sera à Cusipata pour prendre le Petit-déjeuner pendant 30 minutes. De là, nous continuons notre voyage pendant encore une heure et demie, en passant par le village de Pitumarca jusqu'à ce que nous atteignions Hanchipata–Llama Chimpana, où la randonnée commence.
Vous commencerez la marche au pied de la chaîne de montagnes de l'Ausangate et vous remonterez pendant environ 1 heure et 45 minutes. Nous atteindrons ensuite le point culminant de Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), le meilleur endroit pour voir les couleurs incroyables et le sommet enneigé de l'Ausangate.
Ce sera le point culminant de la montagne. Vous aurez l'occasion de voir différents types de camélidés d'Amérique du Sud (parents de chameaux). Nous visiterons également la Colline Rouge, où vous aurez le temps de profiter du paysage et de prendre de belles photos. Veuillez noter que les frais d'entrée à Red Hill ne sont pas inclus dans le prix du billet.
Arrêt à Cusipata pour déjeuner.
Vous terminerez la randonnée par une descente d'une heure sur un terrain plat, retournant là où la marche a commencé. Le chauffeur vous attendra pour vous ramener dans le quartier de Cusipata pour un déjeuner traditionnel d'une heure. Après le déjeuner, nous retournerons à Cusco, arrivant vers 15 h 30.

Rainbow Mountain is a tough hike because of the altitude but Robinson was an amazing guide and kept us motivated throughout! He was very communicative on the front end and ensured that we had an amazing experience.

This was the most amazing experience. David was an experienced, knowledgeable and highly supportive guide. This is quite challenging given the altitude but with David’s expertise we managed, and thoroughly enjoyed, the day. Rainbow Mountain is really great but the Red Valley blew us away. The Agency were very responsive, communicative and helpful. Would highly recommend this tour.

Went on a tour to the rainbow mountain and red valley with Darwin the guide and it was great. We went early to see the sites, we saw Andean eagles flying, which was great, and the weather was also really good
