L’île de Saona est la plus grande île côtière de la République dominicaine, avec une longueur de 25 kilomètres et une largeur de 5 kilomètres. Faisant partie du parc national de l'Est, l'île de Saona reçoit environ 600 000 touristes par an, ce qui en fait l'une des meilleures excursions de la République dominicaine. La superficie de l'île est de 110 km². Il possède de magnifiques récifs coralliens, des lagunes côtières, une grande diversité d'oiseaux et d'espèces de reptiles, ainsi que des sites archéologiques et des grottes intéressants qui ont été utilisés par les Taínos.

We took a day trip to Saona Island with this tour company on the “Maui “. Overall, it was a great day! The crew was attentive and we felt safe during our trip. The stops to the stand bar were great with staff in the water to take photos for you. The music was diverse for all ages and cultures so they did a good job mixing it up for everyone. Lunch on the island was very good with a good selection for a variety of dietary needs. The lunch location was perfect with an area to lounge on the beach. I wish we would have had a little longer there to explore the island. It was very busy. My only feedback would be 1) to work on a breakfast that may be more than carbs (pizza and muffins) though I know that can be challenging on a boat. 2) Have the tout guide provide a little kit background and history. I would recommend this for families, couples, friends, and groups. It was a great day on the water!
Horrible service! DONT BOOK THROUGH THEM!!! They never replied back to our questions regarding when pick up would be and wouldn’t let us refund!! Our transportation never showed up and we waited for hours for nothing
The trip was just fantastic! Already at the pickup we felt well looked after all around. German was even spoken on board the catamaran, which made communication particularly pleasant. The crew was incredibly friendly, attentive and took good care of all guests. A real highlight was the food – freshly prepared and simply delicious! There were cool drinks, good music and a great atmosphere. The island of Saona itself is of course a paradise, but the perfect organization and warm support made the day a real experience. We highly recommend this trip – absolute top class!

I booked this through Viator and a week before the trip the company contacted me directly and told me the price would be more for a private boat The trip would include the following: Transportation Breakfast: ham and cheese sandwich, cake, fruits, spring rolls, empanadas, coffee with milk, hot tea, hot chocolate Onboard refreshments: Coca-Cola, water, Sprite, Ron Barceló rum At the beach: Open bar with Coca-Cola, Sprite, water, rum, and beer 1 Private buffet lunch onboard Fruit, snacks, and appetizers onboard 1 National tour guide Beach amenities: Bathrooms, sun loungers, and showers Admission to the national park included. I tried to contact Viator to confirm increase. Meanwhile the company told me not to work with Viator and book direct with them and skip using Viator. Viator did not get back to me on the price for 2 days and being in a panic I booked with the company directly. We had no food on the boat and the ride to the boat was 2.5 hours and we did not go into the national park. Our tour guide slept on our boat ride back. I paid $185 a person $3300. I was sold a trip that never happened. To say I was disappointed is an understatement! I do not recommend this company!! I contacted the company and they sent me a response they use for all complaints. I have asked for a refund of any kind given we didn’t get what was advertised and have not heard back and probably never will.
the tour list on Viator is a share tour. and the price was not appropriate to what you are looking for. sorry to see you did not like the experience . but the company did the best to help you get a great tour. as the Fotos and video show something diferent. then what you are saying
We went for a walk to Saona Island. We arrived at Bayahibe, then boarded a catamaran to go to Saona Island. Arriving at the site, we had a wonderful time with family and friends. . open bar, food, natural pool and a tune to dance to on the catamaran.
Sauna a wonderful island. I went from Catamaran .. very excited ... including music and drink. The island is a paradise...

We had a great time on the cruise to Saona Island. While we did have our young boys with us it's probably a trip more suited for adults than kids, although our kids did have a lot of fun. The staff was super friendly and was always making sure you were enjoying yourself. If your main focus is snorkeling you probably want to look at other cruises, but if your main focus is having a good time with music, boats, and rum then I would highly recommend.

Spectacular, from transportation, the attention of the guide. I loved the food. The beautiful beach, the sea with crystal clear water.
We had a wonderful time on this day tour! Make sure you book with a company that will take you to the Blue Lagoon, it was magikal. AND wear lots of sunscreen and bring water, it's a full day in the sun.
Transfer team didn't turn up on the day them reschedule after many calls for the following or them then to turn up over an hour late appalling service
