Faboulous food tour

We had a fabulous time with our food tour with Svetlana! She took us took a authentic Estonian restaurant to try out soup, or an authentic Estonian cafe for an appetizer plate, with multiple stops at stores and shops along way! At end she provided a souvenir liquor from Tallinn and a map and information on how to get around, a great time thank you!

Do not waste your money for this tour !!!

Definitely not worth it The only good part was tasting the mushroom soup The order of tastings was messed up Extra sweet marzipan before eating the main food

Thank you for your feedback. We were surprised to see a one-star review posted before even half of the tour had taken place. Our food tour is not simply a restaurant meal. It is an experience combining carefully selected examples of Estonian cuisine with visits to different venues and commentary from a professional local guide about the food, its history, and Tallinn itself. The marzipan you received is one of Estonia’s traditional sweets and is individually wrapped. Guests are welcome to taste a small piece immediately or simply keep it for later if they do not want something sweet before the next tasting. There is no expectation that everything must be eaten the moment it is handed to you. Since the review was written at such an early stage of the tour, before most of the tastings, locations and guide’s stories had even been experienced, we feel it cannot really reflect the tour as a whole. We are pleased that the vast majority of our guests understand the concept and enjoy the combination of local food, history and personal guidance. We hope that by the end of the tour you were also able to enjoy more of what the experience was designed to offer.

I really enjoyed this tour. It’s a food tour and city walking tour in one! I learned so much about Tallinn and its food/drinks!

Must do!

Small GREAT group so maybe that made the experience that much better but Anastasia was also a FANTASTIC guide. I know I’ll be back and even if we go to the same places I’ll probably still enjoy it. I’d like more drinking or more time but it is a do not miss. And the weather was bad so if it’s not I’m sure it would be that much better.

Happy taste buds

Svetlana, our guide, was very interesting and relevant. The food we tried was good. I invite people to try it. Take the tour at the beginning of your trip, but it remains a novelty after a few days, except for the rye bread, which is excellent by the way!
