Excursion d'une journée au parc national de Lahemaa
Description
Le parc national de Lahemaa est un endroit avec des paysages à couper le souffle et une nature préservée. Vous pouvez trouver de belles péninsules et baies, des forêts et des plages, des cascades et des tourbières assaisonnées d'une riche histoire culturelle. Cette excursion d'une journée est parfaite pour passer une journée hors de Tallinn. Le premier arrêt sur le chemin est la cascade de Jägala, après quoi vous aurez une promenade pittoresque dans la tourbière de Viru. Vous irez sur la promenade menant à la tour d'observation où vous pourrez admirer comment la végétation unique contraste avec les mares claires de la tourbière. Le prochain arrêt est Sagadi OR Palmse Manor, où vous pourrez en apprendre davantage sur l'héritage des propriétaires terriens Allemands vivant dans la campagne estonienne depuis des siècles. La dernière visite est soit au village de Käsmu OU Altja qui sont uniques car ils représentent l'architecture de nos villages de pêcheurs tels qu'ils étaient avant la création de la zone frontalière côtière à l'époque soviétique. NB! L'ordre des activités peut différer. Pendant la visite, il y a une pause déjeuner (non inclus dans le prix).

Itinéraire
La cascade Jägala est la plus haute cascade naturelle d’Estonie. Elle s’abat d’une falaise calcaire de 8 mètres de haut. Votre guide vous expliquera comment la cascade a été formée et vous aurez l'occasion de voir la cascade depuis les hauteurs ou de descendre par la rivière plus proche de la cascade. C'est une opportunité de photo incroyable avec les chutes et la forêt luxuriante autour.
Le sentier de la tourbière Viru est facile à parcourir car il commence le long d'un sentier forestier lisse et mène à une promenade passant devant la tourbière. Vous atteindrez la plate-forme d'observation ou la tour au milieu de la tourbière où vous pourrez surveiller la majeure partie de la tourbière avec ses piscines de tourbière claire. L'été, quand il fait chaud, vous pouvez vous baigner dans ces piscines tourbières (apportez votre équipement de natation). On pourrait amener un anti-moustiques (saison estivale).
Palmse Manor est l'une des plus grandes demeures baroques d'Estonie. Le manoir et le musée en plein air constituaient le premier complexe manoir entièrement restauré du pays. L'autre option est de visiter le manoir de Sagadi. Le complexe manoir de Sagadi est un patrimoine de la période germano-balte en Estonie et offre une chance de connaître son contexte historique et d'admirer la beauté de son architecture romantique. Ils sont tous deux entourés par le magnifique environnement naturel du parc national de Lahemaa et donnent un aperçu de la vie et de l'architecture du manoir estonien à travers les âges. Pendant la visite, un seul de ces manoirs sera visité, selon la saison ou les préférences du client.
Les premières traces écrites d'un village de Käsmu datent de 1453. Il abritait une école maritime, et pratiquement toutes les familles y avaient leur capitaine ou capitaine de corvette. C’est pourquoi Käsmu était surnommé le « village des capitaines ». Aujourd'hui, c'est un endroit populaire pour les vacances d'été et l'organisation d'événements. Vous pourrez vous reposer et vous détendre ici en flânant le long de la plage, en explorant la beauté naturelle de la région sur ses sentiers de randonnée. L'autre option est de visiter Altja. Altja est un charmant village de pêcheurs sur la côte de Lahemaa. Vous aurez la chance de voir les maisons côtières traditionnelles avec des toits en roseau et de marcher sur le bord de mer. Pendant la visite, un seul de ces villages sera visité, selon la saison ou les préférences du client.

Wonderful tour with Mari! She was very knowledgeable and kind and made our trip very pleasant. We learnt a lot about Estonian history and culture in one day:) The trip itself was a good first exposure to the Estonian nature and the Lahemaa park. The walk in the bog boardwalk was a unique experience. The driver was also very good and drove us safely back and forth. All in all, a very pleasant trip. Thank you Mari and team.

Absolutely recommended, the bog is an indescribably great experience. The other destinations are also very interesting. The planned lunch was super, the salmon is highly recommended. The tour guide (Kullo) was very dedicated and friendly, knew a lot about the history, and made the day an interesting, exciting, and fun experience. Great job! Important: You can swim in the bog, bring swimwear and towels for that! Something you should have done at least once.

Jorge was very knowledgeable about all things relative to the Lahemaa National Park, Tallinn and Estonia. From start to finish Jorge was enthusiastic, energetic and personable. So happy to have had the opportunity to experience this National Park and some of the natural beauty of Estonia to include Waterfalls, a Bog forest hike, Manor houses and a fishing Village. A compact day but never felt rushed. Highly recommend this tour and Jorge as a Guide!
After being in Tallin for a few days, my wife and I were interested in getting out of the city for a day. This trip to the national park was perfect. The hiking in the bog forest was really nice. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour very highly!
It was a perfect day trip from Tallinn! We learned so many interesting things about Estonia including the language, the food, the basic way of life, flora and fauna not to mention fossils. Just wow! Our guide Stassi was amazing!
My 15 year old daughter and I, together with four other tourists from various countries, had a very interesting day with our fantastic and knowledgeable guide, Sirli. She brought us to the Jagala waterfall (make sure to wear a waterproof jacket and good walking shoes or boots so you can go behind the waterfall, which is really fun) and a nearby suspension bridge which touched the immaculately still water below in the middle, as well as the Lahemaa national park where the landscape was unlike anything we had ever seen, and after the 45 minutes or so of walking the boardwalk through wetlands, we hopped back in the minibus and went for a traditional Estonian lunch in a fantastic thatched restaurant (very good portions and very reasonable prices). The second part of the day (which was long, so be prepared to be very tired on the way back...most of our group fell asleep on the return journey!) was spent touring the grounds of a beautiful manor house (where we moved quite a few tiny frogs off the path...to save them from a somewhat flatter future!), and then the last stop was in a really quaint traditional fishing village, where we also got to try out the huge wooden standing see-saw swing, (which is big enough for six adults and used to serve as a meeting place and was the highlight of the social calendar for local villagers, even bringing together courting couples) which was great fun. Highly recommend this tour, to get out of the city, see the stunning landscape and vegetation and learn about some of the history, nature and culture of Estonia, as well as tasting some local cuisine.
