This tour exceeded my expectations and was a worthwhile addition to my trip to Estonia. Johanna was an excellent guide, the tour was well organized, and the van was comfortable. Every place we visited was fascinating and beautiful, and the experience was enhanced by the stories Johanna shared about Estonian history and her life. Lunch was at a lovely tavern with an extensive menu, including plenty of options for vegetarians. There was a fair amount of walking and hiking, but nothing I would consider strenuous. I recommend bringing a light jacket and a hat.
It was a wonderful trip. Johanna was great. She explained a lot and one felt completely comfortable.
Well organised trip with a knowledgeable guide and just 8 people. However the drive to the reserve in the mini bus was very long Lovely walk alongside the bogs with interesting and informative talks along the boardwalk from our guide. The visit to the Manor house was ok but not particularly interesting. I obviously had not understood that the cost of the two course lunch advertised was not included. Only one course was offered with few choices for me, a vegetarian , however what I had was fine.and not too expensive. Then on to a lovely walk along the sea path, however, it was a very long walk. Next a very long drive to a lovely waterfall then back to the town. In all it was an interesting trip but perhaps there should be mention of the many long walks and the fact that people should be reasonably fit.
Great tour of the bog, luckily we had perfect weather so the day was pleasantly sunny and warm. The guide Johanna was incredibly nice and shared much of Estonia’s history with the group, highly recommend her as a guide
Really enjoyed this tour. Several stops on the tour and guide Kullo was very informative at each one. Lunch at Altja kõrts was delicious- nice to try Estonian food
This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide, Kullo, was extremely knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. He was very enthusiastic about nature and you had the impression that he really enjoyed his job. He made the tour very interesting and very enjoyable.
