Such a fun experience,...

Such a fun experience, make sure to get there early and do zip lines first , we did and sooo glad for it because it was red the whole day after and got sooo full The food was meh but for a buffet who can complain All the activities do involve water And it’s super fun

Incredible Attractions, Unnecessarily Aggressive Staff

Xplor has amazing attractions, and the buffet was excellent. The food was fresh, varied, and one of the highlights of our visit. I visited on Friday July 3 2026 for reference. Unfortunately, about 80% of our interactions with employees were negative, which really affected the overall experience. Many staff members seemed tired, grumpy, or indifferent, and several came across as condescending. Two employees were openly aggressive toward guests. It honestly left me wondering whether the staff are overworked or not being properly supported, because the overall mood among employees felt very different from previous visits. One example happened at the top of Toboganxote. An employee instructed the group behind my family to wait in the corner. A few seconds later, the same employee raised his voice at them for not being in line. They had followed his instructions exactly, but were still treated as if they had done something wrong. Contradictory instructions followed by aggressive reactions create unnecessary tension for guests. The zipline staff showed a similar pattern. More than half of the employees we encountered seemed grumpy or condescending, and two were unnecessarily aggressive in the way they spoke to visitors. I completely understand that safety is the priority and that staff sometimes need to speak loudly, but there's a clear difference between giving firm safety instructions and treating guests with hostility. The most disappointing experience happened at the end of the short cave swimming circuit. My wife and our two young daughters had just finished the swim, where you exit through an area with a heavy waterfall. Because Xplor no longer provides fins, everyone moves slowly through the water. You're trying to swim, keep your eyes open while water is constantly hitting your face, avoid bumping into other people, and find the small exit while visibility is reduced by the bubbles created by the waterfall. A female employee began shouting for everyone to move, which I understood because the waterfall is loud. However, instead of simply directing people, she started physically pushing guests into the narrow exit. People were colliding with one another because there simply wasn't room to move any faster. She grabbed me from behind and pushed me forward, causing me to hit the guest in front of me. I immediately apologized to him because neither of us had any control over the situation. That level of physical handling was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. Xplor is a fantastic park with incredible attractions, which is why this was so disappointing. The food and activities deserve five stars, but the customer service does not. I sincerely hope management looks into the atmosphere among the operations staff. Whether the issue is staffing, workload, or training, something needs attention. The attitude of many employees significantly took away from what should have been an unforgettable family experience.

MAGNIFICENT XPLOR EXCURSION

XPLOR is always a fun, pleasant and exciting trip. I’ve been six times prior as I have been visiting Cancun since 2010. I only book directly with Xcaret Experiences because they are an AMAZING organization! The pricing, service provided, staff and transportation were all FANTASTIC again!

Tourist trap and photo scam

Park obviously does not limit how many people they let in, park is overfilled making doing any activity nearly impossible to do the activities We paid for photos, half of the photos are not of us! And only 3 photos from the 8 zip lines we went on…… absolutely awful if I wanted random random pictures of people I could have done this myself The two pictures are examples of our excellent pictures they provide

Awesome experience

Wonderful really enjoyed it. Lots to do,family enjoyed all of the zipp lines. Food was amazing. When visiting again we most definitely will be back.

Worth doing one time but takes a long time

Xplor is a full-day experience, especially if you’re staying in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. We left our hotel around 7:00 a.m. and didn’t return until about 6:30 p.m. Transportation was well organized, but the shuttle stops at multiple hotels, so expect a longer ride. Our kids absolutely loved the park. There are seven main activities, and every one of them was fun and memorable. One of the tour guides recommended doing the waterslide first and then the zip lines, and that was excellent advice. By the afternoon, those attractions had much longer waits. The unlimited buffet was surprisingly good, and there was plenty of variety. The optional photo package costs about $150, but there are photographers throughout the park, so you’ll end up with a lot of great pictures. That said, phone use is heavily discouraged, which felt a little restrictive and makes the photo package feel almost necessary. The staff experience was mixed. Most employees were neutral, some were genuinely friendly, and a few came across as rude. The park also has a lot of rules. Read them ahead of time and follow them, as the staff enforces them closely. Overall, Xplor offers unique attractions you won’t find in many other places, and we made some great family memories. While it’s expensive enough that we probably wouldn’t do it a second time, we’re very glad we went once. Great activities, good food, excellent photos, and an experience we’ll remember for years.

Definitely worth the...

Definitely worth the trip. So much to do Give yourself at least 2 days to do it all. Bring water shoes and a towel. Only bad comment is if doing the atv activity, there is an additional charge for photos, even if you buy the photo package.

Worth the adventure
