Pendant la visite "Le Parrain", au départ de Taormine, vous vous promènerez dans les rues authentiques et pittoresques de Savoca et Forza d'Agro, restées inchangées depuis le tournage du film, visiterez d'anciennes églises, le célèbre Bar Vitelli où Michael Corleone a demandé sa main au père d'Apollonia. mariage, l'église où ils se sont mariés et d'autres lieux de tournage. Plus tard, vous dégusterez un déjeuner traditionnel composé de fromages produits localement, salami, prosciutto, caponata, parmigiana, olives, huile d'olive extra vierge et pain frais fait maison et sorbet au citron, tout en profitant d'une vue romantique sur la mer depuis la terrasse.
Le premier arrêt est Savoca, une ville médiévale préservée qui a servi de remplaçant à Corleone où Michael se cachait pendant la période « aller aux matelas ». Vous marcherez jusqu'à une ancienne église de Santa Lucia, où Michael et Apollonia se sont mariés à genoux devant la porte. Suivez ensuite le même chemin qui descend la colline que les jeunes mariés ont emprunté et visitez une autre ancienne église datant du XIIIe siècle. En vous promenant dans les fabuleuses rues de Savoca, les bons jours, vous pourrez également rencontrer des acteurs, par exemple une dame qui jouait le rôle de la mère d'Apollonia et qui vit toujours à Savoca. Plus tard, vous pourrez éventuellement visiter un restaurant familial et, sur une terrasse avec vue romantique sur la mer, déguster des vins siciliens locaux avec des plats traditionnels (fromages produits localement, salami, prosciutto, caponata, olives, huile d'olive extra vierge, pain frais fait maison, granité au citron fait maison - tout est préparé avec des ingrédients bio d'origine locale - "km0" !).
À Savoca, vous visiterez le Bar Vitelli qui ressemble exactement à celui du film et verrez l'endroit exact où Al Pacino a informé le père d'Apollonia qu'il s'appelait Michael Corleone et qu'"il y a des gens qui paieraient beaucoup d'argent". pour cette information, mais alors votre fille perdrait son père au lieu de gagner un mari". Ici, vous pouvez prendre des photos avec un authentique fusil de chasse sicilien "Lupara", voir des images du film et un monument en miroir pour Coppola, profiter d'une vue panoramique sur la Méditerranée depuis la place où la scène de la cérémonie de mariage a été tournée, acheter des souvenirs du Parrain et - "laissez le pistolet, prenez les cannoli" - dégustez les cannoli siciliens originaux et le granité au citron au Bar Vitelli.
La visite se poursuivra à Forza d'Agro, une autre ville perchée magnifique avec une connexion "Parrain". Vous marcherez dans les rues abandonnées ("Où sont passés tous les hommes ?" - "Ils sont morts à cause des vendettas"), explorerez la place historique et verrez les images du film, visiterez des églises anciennes, verrez la place où le jeune Vito Andolini ( plus tard Vito Corleone) a échappé aux hommes de Don Ciccio en se cachant dans un panier sur le dos d'un âne, montez pour voir les vestiges d'un château normand du XIIe siècle, admirez une délicieuse vue panoramique sur la côte ionienne et découvrez le mode de vie pastoral sicilien resté inchangé depuis l'Antiquité.

It’s a great experience for those of us who are familiar with the Godfather movie series. It was fun to walk in the actual settings of the movie. Omar made it extra special and was very attentive to our needs.
Went for The private Godfather Tour and it was truly a memorable experience. If you are a fan of the movie then it is worth a visit. Marco was remarkable. Very detailed, professional and passionate. Took the time to really explain the movie scenes. Lunch was at a quaint little restaurant and the food was just yummy. Overall it was a day well spent.
Bruno was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable taught us not only about the movie but the history of the villages. The scenery was amazing and definitely an excellent choice to enjoy while in Sicily!

Just home from a fantastic visit to Sicily with my wife and I both agreeing that this tour was the highlight of the trip. Carlo was our driver and guide. He was a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive guide and went the extra mile, quite literally on our behalf. Elena was our private guide. She was extremely knowledgeable. She was passionate about her job and it showed. She was very experienced driving in a highly complex terrain. She shared so many details of sights and locations of the filming of the Godfather. She took her time with us and we didn't feel rushed. Our tour couldn't have been any more perfect.
This tour was one of the highlights of our time in Sicily! He brought the villages of Savoca and Forza d’Agrò to life with great stories about the movie, the real Sicilian history behind it, and local culture. Walking through the same streets where scenes were filmed and visiting Bar Vitelli was such a fun and memorable experience. The views throughout the tour were absolutely stunning, and finishing the day with a delicious Sicilian lunch with appetizers and pasta made it even better. Bruno made the entire day feel relaxed, personal, and truly special. If you’re visiting Taormina and are even a little bit of a Godfather fan, this tour is a must — and if you get Bruno as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience!

What an amazing tour! Shout out to Marco for showing us around Forza d Argo and Savoca. He was very knowledgeable and was an expert of anything godfather that was shot in Sicily. He gave us a little time to visit the shops in Savoca and to spend time with the neighborhood cats, one who wouldn’t leave his lap! We ended with a lovely lunch of antipasto, pasta, wine, and lemon granita. Was a beautiful and enjoyable day!
Bruno is exactly what you expect from a guide. He is local, speaks the language, knowledgeable, does the driving and PARKING and is very likable. He is a Godfather insider and even introduced us to local actors who were in the film. Lunch was top notch.
