Description
Cette activité exclusive a été conçue spécialement pour les passagers des navires de croisière débarquant à Ponta Delgada. Votre expérience commence par une visite de la plantation d'ananas Santo António, où vous pourrez explorer les serres, découvrir le processus de culture traditionnel et déguster de l'ananas frais et de la liqueur d'ananas locale. Ensuite, une excursion au pittoresque volcan Sete Cidades, avec des vues à couper le souffle jusqu'au point de vue Vista do Rei. Vous serez émerveillés par le contraste saisissant entre le Lac Bleu et le Lac Vert, situés à l'intérieur d'un cratère volcanique endormi — un spectacle vraiment fascinant et parfait pour les photos. Ensuite, nous ferons une halte au centre de Sete Cidades, ce qui nous laissera le temps de visiter l'église néo-gothique de São Nicolau et de découvrir le charme de cette communauté historique. Avant de retourner à Ponta Delgada, l'excursion comprend un arrêt au point de vue d'Escalvado, situé sur une magnifique côte de lave.

Considéré comme l’une des sept merveilles du Portugal, c’est un belvédère où l’on peut apercevoir les lagons les plus célèbres des Açores. Le lagon bleu et vert est sans aucun doute un lieu unique et magique.
À l'intérieur du volcan de Sete Cidades, vous aurez l'occasion d'explorer les attractions de ce lieu telles que les points de vue, le centre paroissial, de faire une pause café, de visiter l'église de São Nicolau ou de vous promener au bord de la lagune bleue.
Point de vue en altitude sur la côte d'où vous pourrez admirer les immenses falaises et les rochers noirs des insulaires des monastères. Ce sera le dernier point avant de retourner à Ponta Delgada.
Le retour à Ponta Delgada prend environ 30 minutes et les voyageurs ont le choix de se loger dans le centre-ville ou au terminal de croisière.

Was disappointed as we didn’t get to taste the pineapple or the liquor!
The island is beautiful. Your guide was well versed in the happenings on the island and lifestyle. With that being said, he knew the best places to stop for optimal views of this beautiful place. The tour gave us a good overview of the island and ended at the pineapple “plantation”. The only negative is he went on a tangent about how expensive things are and how tough life can be there. That is everywhere right now and not a highlight of the tour.
We were on a cruise and were asked to meet the tour provider at the terminal. Our tickets stated that we should be there for 9am start. There were 8 of us on a small group tour. We waited in the cruise terminal. The last couple turned up just before 9am and the tour provider said she’d have to cut the tour short as we should have been there for 8.30am. We therefore had to miss the pineapple plantation because she said we had to get back 2 hours before the ship departed. We did however get to see the lakes in the sunshine and were blessed with a rainbow which was the icing on the cake. I would recommend this trip but can I suggest you liaise with cruise travellers the night beforehand and change the time accordingly so they receive the 4 full hours they have paid for.
