Stefania and her family are great hosts! We felt very comfortable in their home and the ravioli and tiramisu was delicious. The special touches they added for my birthday made it lovely way to spend my birthday!
Absolutely wonderful experience! Mariella was an incredible host. She was prompt for our pick up time and drove us ~20 min outside of the city center to her house. We used Google translate for communication and had no issues with that at all. Her home was beautiful and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Messina.
Absolutely amazing experience!! Stefania and her family were so welcoming and created the perfect day for us. Food was delicious, and we had a great time!
Very friendly family who opens their home with such graciousness . The pasta was delicious. Lots of lively conversation
Cesarina was amazing. From beginning to end. This is an experience I will never forget. The food was amazing and the family took time to explaining everything. The experience included photos that they shared with us to remember this experience forever
We had the best time!! This was a once in a life time experience with Consuelo. She was the sweetest host and we honestly are so grateful for this experience. We would go back and do it again in a heartbeat. We all learned how to make pasta and dessert from scratch. She was also very sweet with our kids. 1,000% one of the coolest experiences we have booked! Highly recommend!
Perfect! Learned to make the most delicious tiramisu, pasta and an appetizer. So much fun and we immediately made a shopping list so we could make at home. Conseula was the most gracious hostess. Her house is so charming and she picked us up and dropped us back off. Couldn't have asked for a better outing. Plenty of time left over to explore Meßina too!
Mariella met us at the port and we walked to her flat near the Cathedral. She used Google Translate to chat to us which worked well but was sometimes hilarious! She lives in a charming third floor flat, but there is a small lift so don’t be daunted. Mariella and Giovanni made the whole experience very enjoyable by their warmth and friendliness. Mariella helped us make fresh pasta - tagliatelle and ravioli for our main course, and to fill locally bought cannoli for dessert. We had Prosecco, wine and appetisers all made from local ingredients. A wonderful array of Sicilian cuisine. We felt we had an authentic taste of Sicily in more ways than one. Being guests in Mariella’s home and eating pasta made with our own fair hands was amazing, but also hearing a violin playing Schubert in the Cathedral at noon while we were enjoying our delicious lunch made it just magical. We would thoroughly recommend.
The hospitality was superb, we really enjoyed our host, the food was delicious. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone spending a day in Messina.
Incredible and personal teaching experience with our chef, Mariella in her beautiful home. She picked us up and dropped us back to the port. We made pasta, focaccia, and other dishes which we had for lunch with wine. Such a great and warm experience
