Circuit complet de l'Etna en petit groupe VTT

Beautiful experience, definitely to be recommended. The route is approximately 60 km long, and is extremely spectacular because it allows you to cross all the possible scenarios and admire all the different environments that exist on Etna at medium altitudes (almost all of the route takes place between 1500 and 2000 m). The perspective continually changes as you move clockwise along the route; you pass through more or less recent and different types of lava flows, conifer and birch forests, lava flow caves. The surface is also very varied, from "simple" dirt road to one covered with thick layers of volcanic sand on which you continually risk sinking, lava flows on which you need to be very careful to avoid falling on the rough lava stones, and finally even a long and fun descent on asphalt. The organization is impeccable, the e-MTBs provided were in excellent condition and the transfer from the arrival point of the tour (Zafferana) to the starting point (Rifugio Sapienza) was immediate and punctual. Finally, a note of merit for our guide, Simone, truly very knowledgeable and with a great passion for Etna and for his work which enriches the experience.
